“Tetlow Homes did a major renovation on our home that included adding an addition, garage, screened porch, and a complete remodel of the first floor, (new kitchen, removing walls, installation of a steel beam, etc.). I have to say it was a pleasure to work with Dave Tetlow on our project.
Dave is an honest, caring, general contractor who truly wants to make his customers happy. He always promptly called us back whenever we had a question or when an issue arose.
We had a vision in our minds of what we wanted, and Dave worked hard to make our vision become reality, even when he originally had a different understanding of what we were looking for. He was extremely flexible as the project evolved. Dave stood by his original quote. While we did make some significant modifications that required mutually agreed additional costs, he did not ‘nickel and dime’ minor modifications as the project progressed. It was refreshing to work with someone who had integrity and truly wanted to do right by us.
Dave had told us he would change our perception of what working with a general contractor could be like. We can honestly say he did that.
If you are looking for a contractor that will do what he says he will do, for the price he quotes you, you will not be disappointed with Tetlow Homes.”

“I walked into my bathroom this morning - radiant heat floors warming my cold toes - and thought, “Wow, this is my happy place.” Then I walked over to my closet, picked out clothes that I could see matched, sat on my built in bench and thought, “No, THIS is my happy place!” Good news is that I was right both times. We bought our house 10 years ago, complete with its 1991 pink-tiled garden tub, step-in wire shelf closet, smaller-than-a-phone-booth shower and air of desperate sadness. But there were other projects to do, so our bathroom waited…until now. This remodel has changed my life, and it’s Denise Nott and her team at Nutmeg that made it all happen. They were professional, innovative, done on time (even with my changes), under budget and wonderful human beings throughout the process to work with. I can’t tell you how much differently my day starts and ends. My life is simplified. It feels good. Thanks, Denise, Kevin and Nelson and the crew. You’re amazing! I’d give you 10 stars if I could!”
