“Grota Solna Salt Cave, in Niantic did not disappoint. Their staff was warm and friendly and greeted me with different varieties of infused waters, and a complimentary guava kombucha from East Coast Kombucha Co. I'm not usually a fan of kombucha, but it was really good! They have a beautiful gift shop with handmade soaps, lotions, jewelry, and of course, a large selection of beautiful salt lamps. After your massage session, you're escorted to a comfy chair where you can put your feet up on a heated salt lamp, so you can chill for a bit before getting dressed. There are also heated Himalayan balls to massage your neck area. This experience was much needed and I highly recommend them! You won't be disappointed. ?❤“

“This is a lovely area. It is quiet and full of historic buildings. The resort has some amazing food options and the staff are awesome and very helpful. The bed was so comfortable, I didn't want to get up in the morning.“

The inn was spotless, and we loved that it wasn’t pretentious or stuffy. It has an approachable, relaxed atmosphere that made us feel completely at home. Sometimes luxury can feel intimidating—but not here. The Norwich Inn has a quiet, authentic charm that we really appreciated.

The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is because I think this beautiful property has the potential to become truly exceptional. The historic buildings and setting are lovely, but I would love to see a little more attention given to the grounds. More thoughtfully designed gardens, seasonal flowers, and meticulous landscaping would elevate an already charming property and create an even stronger sense of arrival and place.

The hospitality inside sets such a high standard that I would love to see the outdoor spaces reflect that same level of care and attention to detail. It is very nice—-just not colorful.

The warmth of the people, the cleanliness, and the relaxed atmosphere are already outstanding. A little more investment in the landscape would make the entire experience feel even more memorable.

Overall, this is a delightful place to relax, recharge, and feel genuinely welcomed. We’ll absolutely be back, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, charming New England getaway with exceptional service.“

“I had a deep tissue massage at 11:45 on 2/14/26. I have painfully tight muscles on both sides of my neck. She felt around and stated that the muscles were so tight that she was not sure she could help me. I said, but you could try. She began the massage and began strategically massaging various muscles in my neck and back. I thought that this was going to be a waste of money. I was wrong. By the time it was done, I had no neck pain. It's Sunday night and I can still feel relief. The best massage I've ever had. I've had over 100 massages in my lifetime. Maybe 200. She was the best!“
