“First, I'll share the ugly: the woman at the front desk in East Haven is one of the rudest people I've spoken to in a long time, and that says a lot! However, Eleanor, who answers the phones and helps with advisement, is AMAZING. When my first instructions on how to put contacts in weren't working for me, I spoke with Eleanor, who gave me some options. And boom, when I tried what she told me over the phone, I was able to pop contacts in easy breezy!

So grateful for Eleanor and the other staff at Envision, except the front desk lady in East Haven, she could use some bedside manner lessons! Absolutely disgusted by how she treated me after I was sent to Madison to pick up my contacts, only to find out they were in the East Haven location. You'd think, if anything, she would have apologized, but instead she acted like I was annoying her when I had a couple of follow-up questions to be sure I was picking up only and not having the I and R instructions.

5 stars are for Eleanor, Chis, and Maria because they were dedicated pros! Would highly recommend this place, just have patience as you would with your child, with the upfront desk at the Madison location, can't speak for all front desk employees, it was just the one that was beyond rude... don't know her name.“

“Ed Bodet, the owner of Mount Carmel Opticians is a top shelf first class human being. Besides the great service and products he offers, his shop is a fun place to be. IT's like a nostalgia museum filled with artifacts and pop culture stuff going all the way back to the late 19th century. Ed himself, is a really nice guy and has a lot of experince in his field. I highly recommend you stop by his shop if you need anything regarding eyeglasses.“

“I was very pleased with Sarah in the vision center in Walmart, New Haven. She took so much time trying to get my new glasses adjusted so they would not hurt me. I bought them in the Wallingford office and brought them back five times to be adjusted and they told me they were not able to do no more Well. Sarah figure it all out for me. And if they still hurt, she told me to come back, and we will look for another frame due to the fact that I have the #Warranty, which Wallingford told me I could not do i I would highly recommend Sarah and there is also Michelle there that took my first phone call“
