“I will never go to another salon! The nail artists who work at Uponavon are professional, kind and extremely talented. I have had two knee surgeries and knowing this, they always hold my arm to walk. I am in awe of the owner and how she keeps everything moving, fits people in who don't make an appointment, answers the phone and still makes the clients not only feel welcome but treasured. Any small problem that arises she handles with understanding and grace. If you happen to try this salon, I would suggest upgrading your pedicure to a cucumber massage, it is life changing.“

“I went for the first time to get a massage for a back spasm I was having and Anna did a great job and she also suggested for my arthritis to use the sauna with the infrared red lighting to penetrate healing. I did notice that the arthritis in my hands subsided And my skin looked beautiful. I’ve been having problems with some skin areas, and I am going to go back for healing on that to see if it helps in addition to using special cream. I absolutely loved how open and honest Anna was about her work and her policies and it was so refreshing to have someone who really wanted to help in anyway she could! I highly recommend“

“I saw Jamie at Hands on Massage at the gift of my husband. She took me in, did a brief intake which guided her to know my needs. Today I was looking for some stress reduction and release of my thoracic and cervical stiffness/ache. She was spot on, devoting just enough time and firmness. She has a gentle way of getting into the small tender spaces yet is strong enough to press in manipulate the larger tighter areas. She clearly has the experience and intuition and gives a GREAT message! The setting and aesthetic are peaceful. The location is perfect, close to home and right off 91. My back, shoulders, neck and whole body are still feelin free of stiffness.“

“I felt things I haven't felt in my life before. ( good things ) I've been to many massage places. Today I got a deep tissue massage due to my constant pain in my shoulder and let me tell you! It was unlike any deep tissue I have ever had. Dana knew exactly what muscles to target after I explained my pain. I feel amazing ! Will be returning. As far as paying up front I don't see an issue with this . A lot of ppl don't show up or cancel their appointments so it's understandable. You also don't have to tip upfront . I tipped after my appointment with cash.“

I was making a big change, and she was great about telling me what she thought would work, and what we should tweak for my specific hair/face shape. She took her time and really paid attention to the details.

“I’ve been coming here for years. The cleanest nail spa I have found. It is so clean and does not have a chemical smell. The staff is so friendly and they do a fabulous paint job!
They have an atm. Quiet spa music. HGTV on the wall, but sound is muted.
I’ve tried a few other places….and ended up with an infection, dirty spa and bad smells.

Donna took the (extra) time to assess my needs and delivered the right amount of pressure /relaxation during the massage. She is knowledgeable in pressure points ( great tips on what stretches/ foam roller to do!) and delivered an excellent massage that eased my pains and calmed my mind; Thank you!“

“I’m currently on vacation in Venice, Italy. I recently completed an 8-day tour of Ravenna, Cividale and Croatia. During two days of being rained on constantly without umbrella, with my small amount of makeup dissolved, I was shocked to discover my hair never looked better. Donna’s haircut released all my waves. When it was sunny my highlights and color shone. Remarkable. I’m so glad I went to Donna. In Italy, women, young, middle-aged and old, regularly get their hair cut and styled, even if they go gray. They do not wear much makeup if any. Most Italians are helpful and speak some English and the men are very polite and even gallant. This helps immensely when attempting to disembark from a rocking boat. Best to all, especially Donna.“
