“I've been a patient at The Colorado Eye Center – Eastlake since the location was established in the early 2000’s after Dr. Black moved the office from the Mission Trace shopping center in Thornton. The Optometrists at the Eye Center are knowledgeable, friendly, and stick around long enough get to know their patients. They also offer some later afternoon appointment hours to accommodate day shifts and commutes, making appointments far more convenient during the weekdays. If you're looking for some nice eye care professionals, you won’t go wrong here. I know I'm not going anywhere else.“

Instead of ER, we sent him to dr Wagner. He got something to help with swelling, diagnosed him and referred him a dr in Iowa. It was a really good outcome.“

“I was very impressed with Dr. Roffis who came highly referred by my other eye doctor that I now live too far away from.Dr. Roffis was personable, warm and his explanations were easy to follow.Other eye care providers had suggested for 15 years that anti-glare coating would reduce the halo effect around headlights coming at me at night. The coating never improved the headlight glare. Dr. Roffis told me that only anti-reflective coating will help this situation.I feel I am in great hands with Dr. Roffis and his whole team is friendly and highly responsive to questions over the phone and in the office.“

“I last visited Dr. Murphy for my annual exam this past November 2019 and the staff you see face to face I would give a 100% rating. From Kara who does the initial intake (and still remembered me back from my first visits in 2010) to the Doctor herself I feel comfortable, at home, and give her my complete trust in my vision. So I LOVE Dr. Murphy and still drive from Southeast Aurora to her practice for my annual checkups. The only area in which she could improve is her back office staff. I seem to always have issues with requests not being fulfilled until the 2nd or 3rd attempt. This could be enough to turn away new or established patients. I have had to ask 2-3 times for my Optomap images before they are sent. I have asked for a billing credit that I am not sure has still been applied. These all make patients very frustrated and negate all the excellent work the Doctor provides. So Dr. Murphy and Kara get a full five stars... the practice could use some work and gets 4 for now.“

“My visit to Dr. Gates was fast, easy and my contacts are working great. They did use a new machine that took an image of my eye. When reviewing the results, we could see an issue that could cause me to go blind! Being young, I will now be able to monitor it to prevent it from getting worse. Dr. Gates says we will be able to compare the images from previous years incase any additional action is needed. I'll be back next year to get more contacts.“
