806 W Mulberry St Suite B, Fort Collins“I came to Pilates because I'd had chronic knee and back pain for about ten years, which eventually led to an arthritis diagnosis. This meant I needed to change the way I moved my body. Ashley's studio had been next to my gym for many years, and I already knew her to be a good person, funny and kind. I read testimonials about how she'd helped people rehab, and I was in the process of healing from yet another knee injury. We started working together, doing private sessions once a week, and I was amazed -- by how fun it was, how much I loved it, and how strong I got. Many days, I go to meet with Ashley and I arrive stiff and in pain, worried that my mobility will be limited, and by the time I leave, I feel amazing -- like I could audition for Cirque du Soleil. Not only does Pilates make me stronger and understand better how to maintain healthy alignment and movement no matter what I'm doing, it's super fun and feels great. Ashley is just so good at what she does.“
“Karyn Steenstra is a true gem of a Pilates instructor. She's eminently knowledgeable about body mechanics and what specific exercises are best for you on any particular day. And she had a wonderful balance of encouraging you to challenge yourself while always being compassionate.“
