After our lessons with Devon, his behavior is much improved. We can now take him hiking, walk him through Home Depot and past other dogs with no worries. We took him to the vet and she said “kudos to you and your trainer for his great behavior!” Best money we ever spent“

8875 Nelson Rd, Longmont“Best vet in Longmont! The care our animals received from every single employee here is amazing. You can tell that they're really looking out for the best interest of your pet above all things. We sadly had to put two of our dogs down recently, due to their failing health due to their age. The first one was planned and the doctor and vet tech came to our house and the entire experience was beautiful and what you would hope for your fur baby's last moment. Our sweet boy dog needed to be euthanized in an emergency, following a 9 min seizure, and they got us in right away and helped him pass comfortably. It was such a a difficult situation, but even the doctor teared up. You can truly tell they all really care about you and your pet. Not to mention their prices are super reasonable and they don't try to push unnecessary products or tests on you. You can't go wrong choosing them as your vet!“

First for being so thoughtful and sweet to our Whisk and Rex (both now have their own favorite routine / kennel during their beautification) and making sure all of the grooming extras (glandular included) are taken care of. Secondly, thankful for some good recommendations on raw food diet and accommodating big dog raw food orders. Thank you guys so much for taking such good care of us.“

2801 E 120th Ave, Thornton“We can't speak more highly about Dog Ventures and Jay. Jay helped guide and train us to help guide and train our 3 year old stubbornFrench Bulldog, Groot. I have chronic illness that prevented me from walking him because he pulled, was dog aggressive, would not obey simple commands, and hated cars. When we finished I was able to walk him by other dogs, get him into a heel, walk near roads, and all because of Dog Ventures. We also could not take him to restaurants with us because of his dog aggression. But with the proper obedience training and then adding proper e collar training we were so happy to have Groot with us. I was apprehensive about e collars because I'd seen so many misused.Jay taught us that is a tool to be used if simple obedience doesn't work. I equated it to time out for children when they don't listen. You will not be disappointed in investing in Dog Ventures and Jay. We never looked back. Kevin and Darcie“

9AM - 7PM
101 Pratt St unit e, Longmont“Long read warning:Is Carly for everyone? No. Should that detract from the extremely valuable, comprehensive, unfiltered, direct and real information she provided? Not at all.Yes Carly is polarizing. Her own onboarding material makes that abundantly clear (if you didn’t read it). Carly LOVES dogs, she makes above and beyond efforts to be helpful and direct. If she tells you are doing something wrong, there’s a good reason. It may not be obvious at first but towards the end of foundations you’ll see why.Yes they are lecture heavy, but that’s on purpose, the issue isn’t the dogs, it’s the owners. We saw that first hand when we attended the classes, didn’t do the work and then had several fear incidents with our pup that led to biting. We came back, did the work, did the practice like we were supposed to and our dog is better than she’s ever been. She’s more confident, listens so well and can trust her to stay put while we go get food 30 feet away and will wait for us.All the “skills” that the dog needs can be taught in a couple of hours. The problem is us humans learning how dogs think and changing how we do this. That’s why the foundation is “lesson” heavy, anyone can teach dog tricks. This is not that, you are adopting a completely different mindset to dog behavior that will outlast any “trick” you can teach your dog.We will go anywhere Carly does to teach our future dogs period. We are eternally grateful for her and her teams dedication, do not pass up the opportunity, this is worthwhile like any program that’s there to help you, not make you feel better because you “tried”.“
8AM - 5PM
1120 Delaware Ave, Longmont“We have been working with Brian since December when our puppy was about 4-5 months old. He was recommended by one of the trainers at a Humane Society when we were looking for a trainer for our overly anxious and fearful rescue puppy. Brian's helped us understand what we were doing wrong in interactions, but also how to understand our dog more. We've had a few bumps recently and Brian worked to get us back on track almost instantly. We have nothing but positive things to say about him:)“

“Robert’s incredibly easy going and makes boarding for our dog Mandy the least stressful part of travel for us. She has pretty bad separation anxiety and he’s always bent over backwards to make sure she has a comfortable stay. Mandy now happy cries when we pull up. Highly recommend“
