“Our first contact with Next Step was in August, 2021. We were impressed with their showroom and the products they offered. The staff was professional, listened to our ideas and made helpful suggestions. We hired Next Step to design, build and install our kitchen cabinets and counter tops and vanities in our bathrooms. They did an excellent job. Their workers were professional and respectful of us and our property. The cabinets and counter tops were installed in December 2021.We had a water leak in November 2023. It damaged the pantry, kitchen and back entry. We thought the kitchen cabinets were damaged by the water. We called Next Step. The owner, Daniel, came to our house several times to evaluate the damage. The kitchen cabinets were not damaged but we had to remove all the flooring in the kitchen, pantry and back entry. Next Step installed new flooring and base board, fixed electrical problems and plumbing problems in the center island and replaced the kitchen sink. All of Next Step's workers were professional and respectful of us and our property.The owner, Daniel, and Alfredo and Armando were outstanding in the way they listened to us and solved our problems. A lot of businesses could learn from Daniel, Alfredo and Armando how to listen to their customers and help solve their customers problems.Next Step is the only business we recommend for kitchen and bathroom design and installation.Wayne & Cindy J“

“I had a fantastic experience working with Tiny's Granite Works for my bathroom remodel and custom steam shower. The team was not only friendly and accommodating but also exceptionally clean throughout the project. Their professionalism and courtesy made the process stress-free. They kept the workspace tidy and the craftsmanship was top-notch.We hit a small hiccup with some the tiles not being rated for a steam shower. Unfortunately, they had to redo about a week's worth of work but Tiny made the situation right. He personally went out and found us a few different options of replacement tiles and covered the cost to replace them. I doubt another contractor would do that.There were a lot of different crew members at our home and my wife and I were very impressed with how clean, professional, and friendly they all were. Dave, Ben, Dennis, Dario, and Robert in particular were a pleasure to work with.“

“After recently retiring, my wife and I had the enjoyable experience of remodeling our home. We visited Cress Kitchen & Bath and ended up meeting with Katie for several hours. Our home was very dated. We had 40 year old carpet throughout, wallpaper on every wall, popcorn ceilings, no ceiling lights, a wood burning fireplace with brick hearth, and a kitchen and two bathrooms screaming for updates. While we had a vision for our remodel, Katie took that vision to the next level. She gave us a detailed four month work schedule showing the work to be completed each day. This schedule rarely changed, and if so, it was because of manufacturer shipment delays beyond her control. Cress pulled the permits for our project and everyone involved with the remodel was great! This included our electricians, plumber, drywaller, painters, and carpenter. Katie coordinated the work schedule for all of them and communicated with us almost daily making several on-site visits per week. At the end of each day, trash was removed and floors were swept...very important to us since we were living in our basement during the entire project. Ultimately, we are beyond thrilled with our updated kitchen, bathrooms, and entire main floor. “We highly recommend Home Improvements of Colorado. We had kitchen and master bathroom cabinets overlayed. Lori and Mark Hasty, the owners, were easy to work with and spent a lot of time explaining the process, helping with color selection and style. Once we decided what we wanted, they came out and measured and made sure we understood what the changes would entail. They set a tentative date for install and all went well as far as getting the product in as scheduled.As good as they were J.D. Salas, the installer, was excellent. He took the time to protect our floors and counters. No rush job to get done quickly. He was careful, meticulous in his work, and always on time. He was prepared to answer any questions we had. “To start, I just want to say that Mo (owner) and Shawn (co-worker) are phenomenal people. As a homeowner unfamiliar with the renovation process, I approached Mo for the first time with pencil drawings I had made for a custom wooden staircase that I dreamed of replacing our current cookie cutter one. Others said they would only work through a designer, didn’t make their own drawings, etc. Mo and Shawn talked through our design with us, troubleshot potential structural issues and were very patient with the process. After briefly employing a designer for the kitchen and living room part of our renovation, but unhappy with the progress, we added that woodwork to our bid with Mo as well and we took the role of ‘general contractor’. He computer generated the kitchen design we worked out, constructed the cabinets to a high quality, and was precise with installation. The results are better than we had originally envisioned.A few notes on Mo and his team:They are honest and genuine. The crew was polite and always patient in working around my family, as we lived in our home throughout the renovation.They were willing to make adjustments to the plan, as needed, until we were happy with the resultsThere was no nickel and diming. We paid what we were originally quoted.Mo was always quick to respond to concerns we raised through the process and showed up when he said he wouldMo and Shawn went above and beyond in several instances. For example, when the renovation went past the original deadline, due to some factors beyond their control, we realized that we would still be in the middle of a construction zone on our main floor for Christmas. Knowing that we wanted to have our Christmas tree up and enjoy Christmas morning with our children in the living room, Mo and Shawn stayed late, got the renovation at a livable stopping point, moved our rug and some furniture back into the space and had it ready for us to be able to use for Christmas week. They also surprised us with a beautiful handmade cutting board as a gift for our new kitchen.Now that we are done and enjoying the space, we feel a little hole in our lives, not having Mo and Shawn around to say ‘hi’ to.
