As a man, I was surprised both by how much customization was available and by how much that customization affected both ease of use and how I felt about my home. The change from the box store cabinets we started with to the final kitchen we ended up with was incredible. I'm embarrassed to admit that I actually look forward to having guests over to show them the kitchen and bar.We went to four different custom cabinet providers all of whom came highly recommended and several of whom sold multiple different manufacturer's products. When we looked closely at the details and examined our options, Schrolls had noticeably the highest quality cabinets which is why we chose them.Lisa was a fantastic designer and put together a layout that's both beautiful and makes the best use of space. She was patient with a couple that really had no idea where to even begin and took us through the whole process without being pushy or ever making us feel that making a decision against her recommendation was "wrong." She also added a number of very handy features that neither my wife or I would have ever thought of, but were much appreciated.They were not the cheapest. For that go to your favorite orange or blue store. “I had my kitchen cabinets painted a few years ago. The painter told me that the paint he would use was bulletproof. After just one year, the edges were worn, and there were scratches everywhere just from everyday use. The top of the cabinets at the sink, and where you throw away trash, were worn down to the wood. As I was looking for an alternative solution, I found Resurfaced Cabinet Coatings. Kevin came out to give me an estimate and it was what I had paid for it simple paint job three tears earlier. We discussed all my concerns and he answered honestly. It’s now been two years in my cabinets have held up beautifully. The process they use is far superior to just paint. Kevin left me with some paint for me to do touchups as needed. I just touched up the “trash door“ and it was very easy to do myself. They replace all the hinges on your doors which made them all soft close. I am more than pleased and would use this company again.“
