I feel physically stronger and mentally stronger. My balance and mobility have even improved. I often learn new ways to care for myself here. I am really enjoying the workshops they host as well. I’ve attended a mobility and injury prevention workshop, hikes with the gym group, and running club on the weekend. It has lead me to believe that being active can be fun again.
My trainer, Kylie, has been patient and kind, but she challenges me as well. She never shames me for what I struggle with, which is different than other trainers I’ve had. I’ve had a few injuries when I was younger (car accident, skateboarding, snowboarding, running). Kylie makes sure to ask if I am experiencing any joint pain, and we also rate how difficult a lifting exercise is as well. Kylie also suggests new ways to stretch and strengthen target areas where I have become weak. Sam, another trainer at the gym, helps pace the run club on jogs and I really enjoy his enthusiasm and positivity. I’m so grateful to have found this place.“

Not only is she a true professional who practices what she preaches, but she has the best energy and is always positive and encouraging. Since working with her, my boxing form and technique improve daily, my body has changed for the better, and I am feeling GREAT!! Seriously, working with her for just a month has been a much better experience for both my mind and body than being a member of a big box corporate boxing gym for over 2 years--I know that Kristy is truly in my corner and is teaching me the proper technique to make the most impact without causing immense damage to my body. Plus, I do not have the hip pain and discomfort that I developed at my previous gym. Kristy really took the time to get to know me, my body, my needs, and my goals before we started working together which makes all the difference and I know she has my back every step of the way. Because she uses the activator method, I know, however my body is feeling, it won't be "yanked around". Her method is gentle and EFFECTIVE. My husband and I both see Kelly once, to twice a month and I can honestly say my back problems have been SIGNIFICANTLY reduced. Kelly is also a wealth of information when it comes to your general health and well being. Her staff/ family is also super friendly. It always feels like visiting family when we go.“
