“Just had my first actual class yesterday. Went on Thursday last week after a terrible day and couldn’t participate so I watched. I love the family atmosphere here. Before attending my first free class, I had 13 years of built up anger, anxiety, fear, irritability, and frustration. I needed to find somewhere to release that pent up emotion and energy in a positive way because I always turned to self harm or harming myself in one way or another. 5 minutes into the class, I was able to clearly focus. Instead of my brain going a million times a minute, I was able to focus on the task at hand. I laughed for the first time in front of someone in over 13 years. It felt great. I hadn’t felt that good in so long. I of course am sore today because not only is it a work out, but they teach you discipline, that you are able to do hard things and it translates into other areas of my life. Not only was I able to feel a sense of accomplishment afterwards, but I was able to think clearly on the way home and was able to talk to my parents in a way I haven’t been able to for years. We were on a non speaking term for 2+ weeks and now it feels like I can speak to them and get my point across clearly. I now look forward to class each week and will continue to do so.“

“This planet fitness is very clean and well-maintained overall (not all of them are)! Ashley, at the front desk in the mornings, works incredibly hard!! When she is not actively helping a customer, she is cleaning. Not most of the time, but ALWAYS. I probably average 4-5 hours a week in there, and she is ALWAYS working hard, and yet, she still stops what she is doing to acknowledge customers as they scan in. I certainly hope management staff show their appreciation for her!! Unfortunately, there seems to be a relatively high staff turnover rate, but after several years of consistent visits here, I can highly recommend the Castle Rock Planet Fitness.“
