“2021: Pro Builders Express was our solution for a new housing situation when coming from the IE. When other companies painted a picture with words for our ADU, Bob arrived with a 3D layout of our first version, ~600 square feet of addition to our house in LA City. When the ADU laws changed in 2019 to allow a detached ADU, Bob & OC helped to expand that vision to a detached ~1100 sq ft. addition, modifying an existing garage into a 2-story home. We've been in our 3bd, 2.5bth ADU for years now and are living our dream.
There were gripes along the way with LA City's Building Codes and difficult staff, but Bob & crew maintained clear communication throughout the process. On top of it all, they kept the stress of such a big, unfamiliar project manageable and transparent.
This review is 5 years late, but you'll not go wrong with Bob & Co.“

“The Saber team (Chris and his assistant) were very prompt, efficient, and very effective in their efforts. We had voids under the carport, which was cracking and breaking, so the voids were filled with the foam stuff to stabilize the concrete. The concrete was also pressure washed and sealed. We are very happy with the results. We will call them again when we address other issues at our home....“

“I contracted with Horizon Construction & Remodeling to remodel my kitchen, which included all new cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, appliance installation, and lighting, plumbing, and electrical upgrades. Horizon also replaced cabinets in the dining room, removed blinds, and patched and painted several rooms. David was our project manager.

I highly recommend working with both Horizon and David. He provided an accurate estimate for the work, started and completed the work on time, and was always pleasant and responsive when I had questions. It was my first experience with a kitchen remodel and David proved to be patient and kind, never making me feel like my questions were silly or naive. He responded to all of my texts promptly and delivered on every one of my requests.

The craftsmen employed by Horizon were professional and skilled. They did a fantastic job, and cleaned up as they went along. Horizon also operates a showroom in Fullerton, so I was able to see options in situ, not just small samples. David and everyone I met in the showroom were knowledgeable and friendly. They listened to me, made a real effort to understand my aesthetic, and then made great suggestions.

The entire process from beginning to end (3 months to the day) went just about as smooth as one could hope for such a large project. When it comes time to remodel our bathrooms, I will be calling Horizon again!“

“Salvador and his team were communicative, professional and efficient in their work. They finished the job within the time frame they indicated on the contract which we really appreciated. Jackie was very nice and communicated the steps on the project and told me if there were any issues. Salvador was very knowledgeable and passed all city inspections without issues. We were actually very hesitant at first since getting scammed by a contractor and our project getting multiple delays so we werent very trusting but Salvador and his team reassured us that he will fix and help us out with this bathroom addition. They worked tirelessly from late march to early June, monday through friday in the heat and they never complained. The payment process was also very easy and manageable. Their pricing was also outstanding for the quality of work they provide. I heard that his company is also a family business which is why theyre so personable and cared about their clients wants and needs. “This contractor is not qualified to install concrete. I hired them to pour and finish a small concrete slab around my pool. The first time they set the concrete, it cracked in 7 places within the first hour. They had to jack hammer everything out. During this process they damaged the pool coping, and did not reduce the price to cover the damage. The second time they set and finished the slab, the finish was different shades of gray. The job will have to be performed again by someone else.“
