2021: Pro Builders Express was our solution for a new housing situation when coming from the IE. When other companies painted a picture with words for our ADU, Bob arrived with a 3D layout of our first version, ~600 square feet of addition to our house in LA City. When the ADU laws changed in 2019 to allow a detached ADU, Bob & OC helped to expand that vision to a detached ~1100 sq ft. addition, modifying an existing garage into a 2-story home. We've been in our 3bd, 2.5bth ADU for years now and are living our dream.
There were gripes along the way with LA City's Building Codes and difficult staff, but Bob & crew maintained clear communication throughout the process....read full review

We recently had Pro Builders come in to take a look at a big addition project on our home. OC Mendrano was their representative who came over, and he did a great job. He was very thorough, explained the overall process, talked about the different permits and tests the city would require, gave us an overall timeline, introduced the firm and its employees and culture (importantly), and drew up formal 3D designs and a made a formal bid all in the span of like 3 hours. Overall, it has been a great experience thus far with Pro builders.

We needed to add on a downstairs master bedroom for a house we just purchased. I interviewed eight different companies, having had a bad experience years ago. For the companies that actually showed up, I was initially very turned off. One company wouldn't meet with me unless my husband would be present for the initial meeting. Several others just walked around, didn't take any measurements, didn't check any detail and gave me a "rough" estimate (which ranged $60K). I then met with Mark Tracy.
