“We had worked with Frame Build & Design to install a utility sink in our Laundry room and remodel our Kitchen. The kitchen remodel included new cabinets and countertops, layout changes for our pantry and microwave, new appliances, new sink and plumbing, and custom display shelf. We had interviewed about 7 other contractors for this job and we ultimately went with Frame Build & Design because we believed they had good experience with this level of work, good results, and an approachable attitude. We mainly worked with Idan for this job and he was very good about communicating with us the details of the job and was upfront about the cost of everything. He got back to us the same day or by the next day about any questions or concerns during the whole process. Idan or another foreman often came by the job site every day to check on the progress and check in on us to answer any questions. During the kitchen cabinet installation the contractors always double checked with me during the planning stages and showed examples to make absolutely sure we would be happy with the placement before they secured the cabinets. Even after all the cabinets were in, we had asked them to change the side that some of the doors opened and to add another level of shelves in one of the cabinets and they were able to make those changes quickly. They always cleaned up at the end of each workday and put up plastic curtains around the job site to keep all dust and debris away from the rest of the house. It took 4.5 weeks to complete all the work and pass all inspections. We were very happy with the timely manner everything was done and we stayed well within budget. Any additional cost was due to added work we requested after initial planning such as adding in tile backsplash to the laundry room. We are extremely happy with the results of our kitchen and would definitely work with Idan again.“

We broke ground in February 2023, literally days before all of the rain hit California last winter. “After a flood in our kitchen, Kevin Seib of Seib Construction provided an estimate to the insurance company to refurbish / rebuild our kitchen cabinets. He provided a realistic estimate that was not a low-ball and we were able to add about 10% to have Kevin build and install custom cabinets.Kevin is a licensed cabinet maker and general contractor and he has a 7000 Sq foot workshop.We are extremely happy with the job Kevin performed to rebuild our kitchen. The cabinets he built provide much more storage space than the old cabinets and the stain finish on alder looks like a fine furniture finish, but durable. He uses the highest quality hardware and everything fits well and works great.He worked with us to design the cabinets and he provides excellent computer drawn design drawings that made it easy to visualize the final product and make changes as desired. With his experience he is able to make insightful suggestions.Working with Seib construction was a pleasure. “I normally don't review places I've done business with but in this case I just had to. Why? Because of my experience with D'Ambra as compared to my neighbor's down the street who went with a cheaper contractor and ended up with total chaos. My project took about 7 months to complete because it was very involved. Whenever I had an issue or question, Chris was available with a simple phone call. Always around even on weekends if needed. That was refreshing. The quality of work was amazing, but what stood out was when I came home one day, he was there making the carpenter (who hired these two new guys) take down the crown molding they just spent the entire day putting up because he - yes - HE - didn't like. When have you heard of that? I honestly wouldn't have even noticed probably, but hey, he's the expert. Something about since it was floating to accommodate the rope light behind it, it was done wrong.Now my project was quoted at $378k. Painting and flooring was not included. All in I was into the project about $410k. It was a large job. So my neighbor had them quote their house once they saw ours coming together and was floored at the quote. (They bought their house in the mid '70s for about $100k - hard to imagine spending double or more than that on just a remodel) So they went with someone who apparently quoted them about $50k less - supposedly for the 'same' thing. Honestly, it made me question what I was spending. But then about a month into theirs, they ran into me on a Sunday and opened up about their mess. EVERYTHING was an extra. Everything. 2 months in, they were already committed to over D'Ambra's bid proposal. The biggest problem they had was I think it was the same 3 guys were doing ALL the work. Plumbing, electrical, drywall and on and on. The quality is horrible. I can see it because I compare to my job. Of course I don't tell them that, but they know. It's really sad. The inspector told me he sees that stuff all day long everyday all around town and gave me the nod for hiring D'Ambra.I'm so glad I made this decision because I don't know what I'd do had we been stuck in that mess.
