“Having recently retired, I decided to embark into a whole house remodel. This is after realizing that I cannot afford to move to a different house or get into a new house. Taxes on a new house will kill me and moving to another house always requires quite a bit of renovation to fit our needs plus again higher taxes. After much research on the most qualified contractors, I settled with Tony DeFreitas Construction. I thought Tony was going to be easy to get along and I was right. Even the most meticulously laid plans, will require some kind of changes. You just cannot foresee everything. He is so good that I was able to forego hiring a professional designer. We discussed what would look sharp and consistent with my chosen mid-century design. Tony was also able to recommend what are the latest technology from whisper quiet bathroom fans, glass fireplace, tankless water heaters and everything else in between.
