“I highly recommend Top Armor Roofing for residential roof repair in the Goleta / Santa Barbara area. After the heavy storms of Feb/Mar 2023, many folks in my neighborhood discovered roof leaks due to the underlayment reaching its 20-year life span. I hope my neighbors will use Top Armor too. Their quote was the cheapest of our 3 bids, but I was not worried about sacrificing quality because I had a strong recommendation from a trusted friend. Also, their website hosts an impressive portfolio of large commercial projects, which gave me confidence that they stand behind their work. Honestly, I think they were cheapest because they are based in Westlake Village rather than pricey Santa Barbara, where vendors all seem to charge more.Jon Flintoff was our point-person at Top Armor Roofing. He was consistently friendly, professional, and courteous. He answered all my questions about our different roofing options -- cost, lifespan, warranty, etc. His team was punctual and they cleaned up the work site each day. Jon texted me updates and pictures along the way. They used a large team, and therefore they finished the job in 3 days (the other companies quoted 1 week). Re-roofing is very noisy, so 3 days versus 5 makes a BIG difference. Importantly, the job finished on time, the day before some rain rolled in; the team stayed late to finish the job. After the job was finished, Jon handled the city's permitting process; all I had to do was sign. Very convenient!Last March, I was so stressed after our roof sprung leaks. I'm so thankful to Top Armor Roofing that I can rest easy as we approach the next rainy season. Thanks team!“

We also had them fabricate our gutters which are gorgeous. We were required to go a lighter color which makes sense environmentally in SoCal. “Three Clovers Roofing has just completed the installation of a new roof on my residence. I could not be happier or more satisfied with the final product. The owner of Three Clovers Roofing, Justin Yarnell was exactly what you want to find when taking on a major improvement to your home. He was very thorough in his bid preparation, explaining all options and clarifying what each option would entail. His bid was very competitive, less than half of what a large roofing contractor proposed for the exact same product and work. I had specific time frames for when I needed the work done and Justin assured me that he could meet those time frames. In the end he met them completely. He kept me informed every step of the way on progress and what to expect next. He took great pride in his workmanship and went the extra mile to insure a quality job. “So, after all this record setting rain, my house sprung several leaks through my Spanish Tile roof. I spent a few hours calling around and checking references until I got to G & C and contacted Caesar, the owner. I left him a voicemail with all my details. He called me right back and said he could be out within a half hour. Mind you, it was still raining.Caesar made it out within the half hour that he said he would. We went over all the leaks. He jumped up on the roof and ran around like he was on the ground floor. Obviously, greatly experienced at walking on slippery Spanish tiles.Turns out my sky light was improperly designed for torrential downpours. Plus, I had several blockages in the alleyways of the roof connections due to years of debris that needed to be resolved. Finally several of my vents needed to be resealed.Anyway, Cesar gave me a very fair quotation for all the work and said he would be able to slip me in as soon as possible, but that because of the rain there’s so many problems he has to deal with. The next morning I asked him for an update, and he said I was in luck because one of his clients had just canceled and he could come out and get the job done, today.Caesar and his crew came out and did the job in a few hours and everything seems to be in great working order. I am very satisfied for the work he did, and the value that he and his team offered - in this trying situation.I am sure that some other shady roofers would have gouged me by charging a fortune and overworked my rooting needs, but not Caesar. He seems like an honest person, good commentator, and a good businessman.“

“I just happened to see a Bancroft truck in the neighborhood and decided to write the kind of review that is most relevant for a roofer. Our roofing work was done 11 years ago, including complex tile roof repair that required careful removal and replacement of hundreds of tiles, as well as some composite installation in segments where our solar installer had broken most of the tiles. Bancroft also supervised the attachment of our solar panels since we didn’t trust the solar contractor to do it right after breaking so many tiles. “I was referred to Willie at SV by my real estate agent. I was in the process of getting a relative's house ready to sell and during the recent storms the roof had developed a leak. Trying to coordinate work long distance is a challenge, even more so after record breaking downpours and wind. Everyone in So Cal has a leaky roof! Willie returned my call the next day, took time to explain various options depending on our budget and the extent of the damage and then made time to come out and do an estimate. The estimate was extremely reasonable and he could turn the job around within our time frame to get the house on the market. In the end, we got an "as is" buyer so we didn't move forward on the roof. But Willie's advice and estimate gave me much needed information to have confidence in our decisions. I can't thank Willie and his team enough!!! Highly recommend!!!“

Mine was a little challenging, because I had another company remove my solar panels, then Vision did the roof, and the other company reinstalled the solar panels, which complicated the permit process. Ben was very helpful and patient and we were able to coordinate the entire process successfully.
