It is the first medical group chosen for both my mother and aunt for a new PCP appointment. English is never a second language for my Aunt. She only speaks fluently in her dialect which is never a choice for language interpreter. However, the clerk insisted that family members cannot act as an interpreter for confidentiality reasons. I can understand the reasoning and its implications. But, the frustration lies in having an interpreter that does not even know how to communicate fluently in my Aunt's known dialect. Instead, use a language which is also known in my Aunt's native country but she hardly ever knows how to use it. The doctor-frustrated-could not get any information from the conversation which prompted him to call me via phone and ask if I can act as an interpreter for my Aunt. It is a subtle discrimination on part of the company's policy acted upon by the clerk without assessing if it is even appropriate with the situation. Do I need to even upheld this medical group with its substandard treatment of its potential clients and take it as it is? What kind of quality care can we expect in the long run? Yes, we decided to take our business elsewhere and did not give them a platform they think they deserve! Two potential members might not be significant, but it is worth to choose a much more better and suitable option.

By far the worst at answering their phones!!!! No one has answered just been listening to the recording and elevator music they have. I just need to ask about my daughter's prescription that was supposed to be sent 3 hours ago! My baby girl is in so much pain and I need her meds!

The male doctor there is absolutely terrible. I went in for a recurring infection; something I have had multiple times before & wanted the same antibiotic that helped the previous times. Instead, I got a doctor that was shaking his head at me the entire time I was talking, asking me questions in the middle of me answering the previous ones, and treated me like I was lying about something that would make zero sense to lie about. It's not like I went in there asking for pain meds, I just wanted the antibiotic that helped both previous times. He had the audacity to act like I was stupid and said to me "I'm not saying you're lying.." while simultaneously treating me like I was lying and shaking his head while making weird faces at everything I said. DESPERATELY trying to find inconsistencies in what I was trying to tell him, so much so that he was putting words in my mouth to justify the way he was acting. Said he didn't see anything, when I literally went in because the area of redness in my mouth was spreading and that is what happened previous times before it got really bad. Was it bright and obvious red? No. Would he have seen it if he did more than glance? Absolutely. I was trying to get ahead of it because it's happened multiple times before. I checked again when I got home cause he literally made me feel crazy and sure enough, it's still very much there and very visible and I honestly have no idea how he didn't see it. I was shaking by the time I left and had to sit in my car for 10 minutes to calm down enough to drive home. I have not had that terrible of an experience with a doctor in years. The female doctor in that place was fantastic, but he is enough of a reason for me to warn people not to go there. Doctors with that attitude (ones who ignore the patient and act like they're lying) are why it took TEN YEARS to have a doctor even listen to me to check for a problem and have my lupus diagnosed and doctors like that have no business having a medical license. I hope he makes that mistake again with someone with more power and loses his job. So sick of doctors who act like patients are lowly idiots who have no idea of their own body. I cannot express enough how utterly rude that doctor was and how terrible that experience was. Now I get to continue dealing with my mouth burning and having trouble eating until next week, when a dentist who has been through far less schooling can confirm something so obviously visible inside my mouth. Fantastic. Editing to add that I went to another urgent care tonight (the following night) and the doctor there told me it looked painful and prescribed me the antibiotics I needed. Here's the pic of the "non existent" redness and swelling.
