“I was initially apprehensive about my first visit here because I had read some not-so-great reviews. After my appointment, however, I felt compelled to share my own experience. The waiting area, bathrooms, and exam rooms were immaculate. I was greeted by friendly front and back office staff, and the wait time to be seen was minimal.

What I especially want to highlight is my visit with Dr. Jacqueline Shellito. She was patient, warm, and knowledgeable. I’ve had many frustrations—and even traumatic experiences—when seeking care for women’s health issues, and it has been difficult to find a doctor willing to discuss HRT or even acknowledge and explain my peri- and post-menopausal symptoms. While we’re fortunate to have access to information through books, podcasts, and research, it was such a relief to sit with a human being who listened, validated my concerns, and answered my questions. She even asked if there were any other questions she could help with.

“I'm leaving this review because I was in a dire situation, needing a catheter to void my bladder because I am a L-1 spinal cord injury and I had left my backpack with all my medical supplies 2 hours away at home. I went to 5 other urgent cares and even several hospitals with ER's and no one would provide a simple catheter to me. It's not like I was asking for medication. Others wanted to check me in, sit and wait to be seen by a doctor. It was sad to say the least. So disappointing that these other facilties couldn't just provide that for me in great need. From the grace of God and caring of this urgent care they provided one for me! I was able to the bathroom and stay in Oxnard to watch my son play his club soccer game. Still a long drive back home but that was all I needed to enjoy the day. Thank you very much for your compassion for people in need and overlooking all the bureaucracy that prevent care for the simplest of need. Peace be with you!“

“My recent experience was great and it was my first time there. Upon entering there was about a 4 minute wait to check-in at the front desk, which given the amount of people that was understandable. They did advise to be there 20 min earlier than my appointment which I was. In total, I waited about 35min to get called in. Once in the back, I did notice a lot of rooms so I can understand why there is a lot of people. After vitals checked, the provider was there maybe 5 min after so did not take long at all. Dr. Carbonell was professional, informative, and attentive to my concerns. I know the reviews are low, but just wanted to share that in my experience everyone was respectful and overall a good experience.“
