About LA Fitness
LA Fitness offers a variety of amenities, including state-of-the-art equipment, a large pool, basketball courts, and a range of group fitness classes. The gym has faced some criticism, with members noting the lack of staff supervision, which can lead to unruly behavior, and the lack of air conditioning in the group classroom, which can make it feel hot and sweaty. Despite these issues, long-term members appreciate the improvements made over the years, such as the expansion of cardio and weightlifting options. While the locker rooms are in need of an upgrade, the gym's diverse offerings and the "sweaty normal people" atmosphere make it a popular choice for those looking to focus on their fitness journey.
I an coming over from 24 hour oxnard the collection. Because they cant keep it clean.fix it when it broken or give a dam . Looking forward to my new gym and already 24 hour you are a distant memory
I like this gym because of the south la cienega crowd— it’s all sweaty normal people not staring at you like the weho gyms. Everyone is just working on their own fitness journey. The downsides? It’s windowless, smelly, very crowded, and there aren’t nearly enough squat racks, cable machines, or open floor space for drills.
As long as a gym has punching bags, a pool, a jacuzzi and a sauna, to me that's a well equiped gym. The sauna is gender specific while the jacuzzi is co-ed. In addition to those amenities it also has a basketball court, among others. It is quite ample and has many machines for working out. I like this gym.
