“I had the task to redo an apartment unit & figured I'd just remove the carpet and add vinyl flooring . I found Eddie in the AOA magazine and gave him a call to get an estimate on the project. He came the same day and when we looked underneath the carpet we found out that there was original wood floor underneath and decided instead of doing vinyl I would just have the floors sanded down and stained. Eddie was very knowledgeable, patient and explained everything in detail and answered all my questions and concerns. “We purchased our home knowing it would need extensive remodels, and we were admittedly nervous after hearing so many horror stories about planning hold-ups and unreliable contractors. We did our homework, researched over 8 companies, and met with 5. The moment we met Moshe, we knew he was the right person for us. He was the right price, had the right temperament, the right balance of speed and detail orientation, and most importantly, he listened to what we wanted. While other contractors tried to push us into their vision, Moshe respected ours and guided us with smart advice that improved the design for real-life living. It was truly the perfect match.

From day one, Moshe was on top of everything. He always had a team on site, and they worked tirelessly through what was no small project: three bathrooms, moving the laundry room, relocating the kitchen, laundry and 2 bedrooms, installing new structural supports, moving multiple windows, moving a slider door and so much more. During our walkthrough, we nitpicked small things, but Moshe was already ahead of us, pointing them out himself and immediately bringing in his team to perfect the final touches. He also gave us the “Moshe Guarantee”: if anything comes up in the months or years ahead, just call and he’ll send someone out. That level of pride and accountability is rare.

What impressed us just as much was the caliber of his entire team. Every single person Moshe brought onto our property was kind, respectful, and excellent at their craft, from Miguel the electrician to Victor, who built out our wardrobe, hung shutters, and took care of countless details. It was clear that Moshe surrounds himself with true professionals.

“After adopting a new rescue dog that loved to run up and down the stairs, I realized I needed a plush carpet runner for my staircases for his safety (and my own joints, frankly). The Floor Center's consistent, rave 5-star reviews led me to visit their showroom in Burbank, where the knowledgeable and friendly Robert helped me pick out carpet samples and came to my home the very next day to take custom measurements. Within 2 weeks, my custom carpet had been shipped from the manufacturer in Georgia, expertly bound in the color of my choice (the beauty of custom anything is that it's cut and made to order), and installed by the amazing installer Benny. BENNY did the entire install himself with superb expertise: laying carpet over staircases is labor-intensive work (hammering, nailing, stapling, cutting the carpet and the rug pad to size, installing the wooden grip pieces -- it's harder than you think!) , and Benny was so respectful of my home and detail-oriented in everything he did, I could not have wished for a better installer. I honestly can attest that the two best things I have EVER spent money on for my home were: (1) my Peloton bike during the pandemic (the reason I stayed fit and sane) and (2) these custom carpet runners from The Floor Center!! The best home improvements are the things that improve function and comfort on a daily basis. The bright Mediterranean color of my new carpet lifted and brightened my whole home, making the walls shine brighter, and more importantly, the functionality of my stairways has been immensely improved. My dog and my family traverse these stairs hundreds of times a week, and now each step feels luxurious, secure, and grippy -- as if we were at a beachside luxury resort. I love a local business that is excellent and deeply experienced in the specialty thing they do: Robert and Benny were so good at their jobs and took clear pride in delivering amazing customer service. From the initial quote and measurements, to the timely communication about order status and final install, the whole process was seamless and the results were stunning. In sum, I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Floor Center and especially ROBERT and BENNY for being excellent at their craft, and great people to work with. We hired Deco Floor Polishing/Lifestyle Cleaning to polish our concrete floors in the living room and refinish our wood floors throughout the house. They were communicative, reliable, and efficient. “I learned the hard way to not use a wheeled chair on our Luxury Vinyl Plant flooring in the kitchen. The flooring ended up getting torn up and needed to be replaced. I called around, and most flooring companies said the area to replace the flooring was too small an area for them, they had a minimum size they work with and my kitchen floor was just too small for them. My neighbor found Dan D Flooring and and I had Raul come over to see what can be done. He said they can do it and e-mailed me a quote. Raul didn't bring any samples, so a few days later I went to the office to bring some home. I chose a color and a date for installation. Raul had two installers came and install the flooring. Raul had to complete one of the parts of the floor at a later date, and when all was done, the floor ended up looking really good. I have a new kitchen floor that is not torn up anymore. Highly recommend.“

“I used Costco to put in new carpet in my whole house, I could not be happier that the use Beauty Kiss Floor, I got an appointment right away. I went to their show room picked out a carpet and Mike gave me a few samples to take home to see if I liked them better and take a couple of days to be sure of the color before he came out to measure. I am so glad he did I picked a different color. I was trying to get the carpet in before Christmas and Mike and the team made it happen. Everyone is super responsive and the whole process was seamless. “You have to hire Mike if you want your floor done right! We are doing a kitchen remodel in an 85 year old house. We have the original floors in our entire home and wanted to match them in the kitchen. Mike and his team did an outstanding job matching the floor so it is flush and seamless with NO threshold from the dining room to the kitchen. They had to remove four layers of flooring, about 1,000 nails and screws to get to the original layer of the home which had sunk (5 inches) in one area and swelled in another. They spent a lot of time and paid close attention to resolve the underlying issues and make them level. The floors are stunning. I am so pleased with the quality and fantastic service. They also cleaned up everywhere each day and when they were done. I would never hire anyone else to do our floors now.“
