“My name is Lorena Quiroga. I have been a thirty year resident of Burbank, CA. and have done about a dozen building projects. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend JP General Contractors. Jesus Pena and his entire team, including his subcontractors (plumbers, roofers, electricians, etc., ) are excellent. It took us literally almost 3 years to get our ADU permits for a 3 bed room 2 bath through the City of Burbank. (I've had building permits with City of L.A. who are slow but Burbank just took an EXTRA long time.) We got six contractor bids in total and went with Mr. Pena because my neighbor down the street had two ADU's built by Mr. Pena and his company . He had raving reviews about his work. I went inside the completed ADU's, both large units and loved the attention to detail and craftsmanship of his exceptional work. His bid for the job was competitive and I'm absolutely glad we went with him. Building permits and approvals are a very slow process and it can be VERY frustrating but Mr. Pena and his project manager Cesar helped us through it. Nancy and Kathleen in his office were prompt in communicating with us every step of the way from scheduled city inspections, design options, scheduled payments, etc. Of all the contractor bids we got, JP General Builders required the least money down to start the job, which meant Mr. Pena put in his own money to start the job. (One contractor wanted $100k up front with a completion date of six months. Mr. Pena was less up front AND four months to complete the job. ) JP General Builders never cut corners and safety was always tops. I loved our overall design. Mr. Jesus Pena and JP General Builders are the way to go. We highly recommend him and will be be using them in our next building project!“
“I needed to add new countertops and backsplash to my outdated kitchen and I knew this was going to be an enormous project so I did my due diligence and got 6 different quotes. The cost range wasn't to wide, but I knew for a job like this, quality over expense was the priority. Carlos at C-Bek Tile and Stone made my decision a no brainer. I spoke to Carlos many, many times about this project. In fact, when I sent him a message through Yelp on a Sunday before I had picked a contractor, he immediately called me to discuss my questions. Right then and there I knew this was the team to go with. Carlos was always available to talk. I sent him pictures, Home Depot links for tile, grout and Schluter evaluations and he always responded thoroughly and promptly. I dealt w/his team, including both of his sons and they were all courteous, knowledgeable and professional. A project of this size and complexity needs an expert hand, and this being my first remodel of this kind, Carlos held my hand throughout the entire process. Nothing I needed wasn't addressed or resolved. Do yourself a favor. If you're contemplating a contractor to this job for you, just go with C-Bek Tile and Stone. It will always be the right choice.“

I went to their show room picked out a carpet and Mike gave me a few samples to take home to see if I liked them better and take a couple of days to be sure of the color before he came out to measure. “Extremely knowledgeable with 30 years of experience working with Karen (amazing salesperson). We went here to find a huge selection of carpets, across ranges, colors, styles, and price points. Karen, who said she's been in this business for decades, asked us to pick out 3 of our favorites, and then she would give us her suggestions. We picked out three, and then she helped us with her suggestions of the very best -- and she was right! We went with her suggestion, and our carpets have come out amazing -- kids lie down on the carpet because of how soft it is. We will work with Karen again for the guest bedroom in the near future.“
