Joe has done 4 out of my 6 (and counting!) tattoos, and other family members only go to him as well. He has an incredible ability to take your ideas and add elements that truly resonate with you on a deeper level.
You’re not just getting a dedicated artist, you’re getting someone who genuinely cares about his clients. He remembers people, their stories, and the art he has blessed them with. One day my husband will get his large leg tattoo completed (go big or go home the first time!), and when he does, he’ll only go to Joe.

Chris Carey is an amazing artist I have followed him from Sacramento to Vacaville which is where he used to live & work to where he lives & works now he is totally worth the trip I am always impressed & satisfied with his work & I have recommended him to anyone who wants an amazing tattoo oh yeah his Instagram name is throat carver if u want to check out his work u won't be disappointed

Joe is the real deal. His art is so intuitive and individualized, not a generic drawn outline without imagination then filled in. The edges of my tat are textured and made to look so beautiful and natural, it looks so fitting on my skin, like it was always meant to be there. I really enjoyed the whole experience from concept to walkout. We shared pictures of ideas via text, and then on the day of, we collaborated while he drew out the image. He also wrapped the tattoo in Saniderm, which I've never had before. It made the tattoo heal without scabbing, and in much less time. It looks SO good!!! Not only an amazingly talented artist, but a quality human being who is kind, compassionate, and smart. The best conversation I've ever had during an ink session, and I seriously can't wait to get another tattoo just to have this same kind of quality experience. Also TONS of compliments!!! I've literally had people grab my arm and go all googly while they gush over my newest art. Highly recommend!! Thank you Joe!
