“We go to the San Leandro location and this place is so wonderful! We found them during the pandemic and they had problem solved outdoor service and social distancing very well and safely. Since then we have come annually for vaccines and testing which are the most affordable I've been able to find. They are always so sweet to both me and my pup. They schedule via text message which is actually very easy and convenient. Everyone who has ever helped us has been so great with my pup who can be shy at times. They always run on time and are very transparent with their services, prices, and what to expect at your appointment. We recently had a hiccup with their online pharmacy and Jess went above and beyond to help rectify it. Seriously, I was shocked by the level of customer service which you just do not see nowadays! They are the best service around with the sweetest staff and owners. Please consider them and support their important business in our area!”

“I cannot thank the team at Redwood Animal Hospital enough for their incredible compassion. It was incredibly difficult to find a vet who would see a bird. As I was frantically calling around, I quickly realized how rare it is to find a vet that treats Birds, Small Mammals like hamsters, Reptiles & Amphibians, Invertebrates & Fish.
IF YOU NEED AN EXOTICS VET, THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE THAT I KNOW OF IN THE EAST BAY.
I called them in a panic when Clyde, my late mother's 5-year-old parakeet, fractured his wing. I didn't know exactly how he hurt it, though I suspected the cat in our home might have had something to do with it. Clyde is a very sweet boy and my last connection to my mom after she passed on New Year's Eve in 2025.
Because I am responsible for multiple animals, I couldn't financially provide for his surgery, but I knew he deserved a home where he could get the immediate care and love he needed. When I asked if they knew anyone who could adopt him, one of the vets there was kind enough to personally take him on and adopt him.
