I always get compliments about how shiny my nails look even weeks after I got them done. my manicure last well over 3 weeks and the shine on them is like I just got them done. Not to mention she has really reasonable pricing!! I recommend booking with her !!!! On top of that she's the sweetest soul you'll meet :)

I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she told me what was going to come out and what I should consider based off the current length of my hair and the last haircut I received (not from her). She is extremely affordable and she was fast!! This may be one of the best haircuts I'll be received in the last two decades! I told her that I want a nice layered haircut, but also didn't want to blow dry or spend too much time styling it everyday and she totally nailed the haircut! So happy with my hair.

AAA Fire Protection Services was awesome today in taking care of the 5-year fire sprinkler inspection for our business. Other than the normal routine of doing the inspection they ( Jerome the Inspector) went above and beyond in explaining what was been done and why it was being done. These inspections are always expensive partly because there are a lot of responsibilities and insurance requirements in their line of work, but they gave us the best bang for the buck by far compared to anyone else on our shop's fire sprinkler inspection and outstanding service to go along with it. I recommend them highly and being someone who gives the best service in their industry I can easily spot those that do so in theirs.

Brandy has been my stylist for years. She is insanely talented, highly professional, and an absolute delight to be around. The salon is always clean and all surfaces are cleaned thoroughly between each customer’s use. She’s also efficient with timing - unlike other salons where I have to surrender most of not all of my day. I remain one happy customer!

I actually just went here today and it was the greatest experience, everyone there is super friendly and talkative even the other clients are nice to talk to. I’ve actually never have liked my hair more, im 22 and have been to a few other places but no one can cut hair as good as here especially if you love layers and good bangs! God bless!

Rollies is so reasonable and they are so meticulous about their barbering skills on my grandson. He was hesitant at first because they were Asian ladies, but they've been there for years and he was so impressed and happy with his haircut. Lol
My kids go to barber. They're friendly and do a good job. It just gets crowded but they have a seating area and surrounding restaurants while you wait.
I met the barber named Joe and I was trying to figure out for myself of what type of haircut will be suitable for me and then he suggested me the high and tight combover combination, and he really takes his time cutting my hair like an art and the result is outstanding! Definitely will go back for another cut and will recommend to my friends.

I had a great experience with Helen for my manicure and Mia for my pedicure! Helen did a fantastic job—my nails look clean, polished, and exactly how I wanted. She paid close attention to detail and made sure everything was perfect. Mia was just as amazing with the pedicure—very gentle, thorough, and my feet feel so refreshed. Both of them were professional, friendly, and clearly take pride in their work. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I’ve been coming here for a while now & I haven’t been disappointed! I’ve been getting gelx nails & I love them so much more than acrylics.
They last me sooo long (5-6 weeks) and even then they’d probably last longer but they’re just too grown out for me by then haha.
Customer service is also amazing, I had an appointment & needed to make a last minute adjustment (but would’ve been understanding if it couldn’t happen) but they made it work & have always been friendly and welcoming.

I walked in around 5 pm today for an underarm wax. There was only one employee available and she greeted me and took me in right away. She educated me on why waxing is better than shaving, and was super gentle the whole time. The process was also quick. Will be returning again!

Covid hit so more concerned with staying healthy (organic gardening, hiking with my fur babies and loving having my grand babies around!) health over how I looked.. we are sooo obsessed with being judged not wanting to be judged yet in reality people are people and we all have opinions right. Ok so I concentrated on zoom classes to continue my expertise in veterinary medicine my passion my profession all while making jam bread etc etc.. so how does this all tie in to post about Kaiser: I looked at pictures of me thinking “who is this old lady in a FaceTime clip.. or ring photo ??” . OMG it was me!! Grow old gracefully yeah.. or do all the facelifts that help temporarily but honestly it may make you feel better looking in the mirror but your real friends and family don’t care about a wrinkle.. it’s so much more important how you are as a person. Wouldn’t it be better to take that $50,000. and donate some of it to save something (whales, butterflies, help a battered women’s shelter, a literacy program which I do!). Ah but my mental state looking at that hag was depressing. am I retiring soon? I went to my dermatologist at Kaiser for periodic evaluation of potential skin cancers and she (Dr Boyle) strongly recommended a consultation with Dr Wadhera, a brilliant dermatologist who also does reconstructive work on patients that need procedures for medical reasons and a few days a month also does laser therapy (which treats and helps to prevent some skin cancers as well as the additional effect of tightening skin) as well as ultrasonic microneedling to stimulate collagen etc. He listened to my concerns.. wanting to help my skin be healthier as well as possibly reducing cancers and feeling better about how I looked without the face lift as Ive stated earlier I want to continue to donate $ to causes I support not just to improve my looks as both give one a good feeling of one’s self right?! So step by step I have had fraxel laser, and micro needling via “Genius” and the comments have stopped. The “are you retiring soon” ones. Instead I hear people saying “oh do you take volunteers? My daughter would love to shadow some day (she’s only 9.. do you start at 14 or 16?”) Ok so that means they figure I will likely still be working right?!! Or “wow you look really good.. you have a vacation or what?”. Dr Wadhera has patiently planned out a pathway full of advice on skin care and what procedures will really help my skin heal, rebound without surgical intervention. He has changed my life!! I look younger but more importantly my skin glows its smooth it looks as healthy as it looks sans (without) makeup. Ok so I am not an actress on a magazine cover but I can go out with a trace of mascara, slightly tinted UVF skin product on and a pink lip gloss and don’t have people treating me like an older person needing help. Dr Wadhera gave me a smile back literally without lipstick bleeding into cracks or looking tired and droopy… and $ left over to donate. Everyone at the dermatology and especially the cosmetics department at Kaiser Union City have been amazing!! I trust Kaiser. Why spend the money going to a clinic in SF when I get literally one of the best cosmetic dermatologists there is right here!! I’m sooo happy?

I hired TD West to upgrade my electric panel from 100 AMP to 200 AMP. The old panel was above gas meter, so it had to be moved, and the overhead service drop from PGE needed to be replaced as well to meet current code. Dinh was my main point of contact on the project and was fantastic to work with. Home improvement projects give me a lot of anxiety, and I like to ask lots of questions to understand all the details of what is happening. Dinh patiently answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable throughout the project. The project required coordinating with PGE and the city of Oakland for inspections. Terry kept on top of and managed all of those details and kept everything on schedule. Salvador and Andrew were the two lead electricians that did the work. They were very professional and did a great job on the installation. Everyone from TD West was on time for every appointment. All inspections passed on the first try. Every phone call or text I had with a question was answered within a reasonable time frame. On top of all of that they offer a fair price. TD West will be my first choice for all future projects.
Azer quickly found the real cause of my GE Monogram fridge problem — a bad thermostat bimetal — and fixed it, plus recharged the refrigerant. Fridge works perfectly now. Professional, honest, and highly recommended.
During the recent heat wave my heat pump stopped cooling my house, so I scheduled an appointment with Smart repair. Lurii came out on time and diagnosed the problem. the spiders around my house always make appearances in the warmer months but once wasps started showing up too i finally decided to look into pest control. family pest solutions has consistently great reviews so i reached out for a quote. i'd recommend calling/texting directly or messaging through yelp. i discussed the issue with darren and settled on doing a one-time exterior treatment at a competitive price. he arrived within the quoted timeframe, did an assessment around the perimeter, then got to work! he let me know what he did and also informed me of a treatment warranty.
the spiders have amazingly stayed away but the wasps unfortunately returned about three weeks later. i texted darren and he was able to come out for an additional treatment under warranty and gave me more recommendations to hopefully prevent future appearances.

I recently had an appointment with Hannah and she was absolutely incredible! This was probably my best massage I have ever experienced. She is what I would describe as an empathic and compassionate therapist! Hannah has a real skill to recognize what your body needs and that's exactly the type of therapist I want to have. I already have a hard time communicating my needs or when the pressure might be painful, but Hannah checked in with me periodically throughout the massage making me feel at ease and comfortable. It seemed like she knew exactly what my body needed and there was never a time I felt like the pressure was painful. I also had a foot injury and she was incredibly thoughtful and gentle checking in with how my injury area was feeling. I got to enjoy this whole process and quickly trusted her which is hard for me to do. I feel very lucky to have connected with Hannah and I will absolutely be a regular client coming back!
