**Updated review: I have seen Ashley at her personal salon space a few times now and it’s sooooo cute!!! Made me feel welcome, comfortable, and safe. I love admiring her wall lol. The location is super convenient for me as a local. It’s also great because I can grab a coffee at Philz after my appointment and walk confidently with my new hair cut ?? “I had such a great experience at HQ Beauty & Threading with Aman! I’m very picky about who does my eyebrows because in the past they’ve been ruined, so I usually don’t trust anyone. But Aman completely changed that for me.

She took her time, paid attention to every detail, and made sure my brows were shaped perfectly. I have naturally bushy eyebrows and have been struggling to keep up with them because I’ve been so busy, plus it’s hard to find someone who actually knows how to work with them. Aman did an amazing job and really knew what she was doing.

My eyebrows came out clean, shaped beautifully, and still full! Exactly what I wanted!! You can tell she truly cares about her work and her clients.

“Wonderful place. I've been going here for over a decade. I have my go to gal but if she's not there usually anyone else will do a wonderful job. Last visit was my least favorite as I was left injured and with stray hairs still, BUT I will still go back because one not so great experience will not erase a decade of great ones. Just means that next time I have someone else do my eyebrows. Disclaimer, it had been a month since I'd gone so they were quite unruly so maybe she's better with touch ups. Overall 5 star place. Always quick too!“

“I have been remiss in writing a more timely review about this nail salon. Not even exaggerating, but I received the super star of basic manicures from, I believe her name was Donna. I saw the shop on Yelp when I had an event in the area and was in a time crunch needing a manicure and took a chance on walking in. I got a basic manicure with regular polish. Afterwards my nails looked very nice and I was quite satisfied with the service. The shop was not fancy but was clean and comfortable with soothing music playing which made it also a relaxing experience after a busy day. Donna was quite pleasant and we chatted a bit while she did mu manicure. Of course it was a basic manicure on my natural nails with regular polish, not even gel, so at best, I expected it to last maybe 4-5 days before the polish would chip. However, the truly amazing part is how long that basic, regular polish manicure actually lasted. I am writing this review 4 weeks later and today, 4 weeks after that basic manicure, I finally need to remove the polish and have another manicure. I have just been pleasantly surprised week after week to see that my nails still looked good. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures right after the manicure but I have a picture from three weeks after and from today, 4 weeks later where the polish is a bit chipped and my nails have grown out but honestly for 4 weeks, they still look pretty good. For these reasons I highly recommend Crenshaw Hair and Nails for an amazing manicure. I only wish I lived closer because if I did, I would definitely be a regular customer at this shop. Wonderful job! 5 stars all the way!“

“My mother and I came to get our head wash treatments together, and it was so delightful! We both did the herbal shampoo package, and they put us right next to each other. It was a fun experience to share. I thought the pressure was just right, though obviously you can voice if it's too hard. Very attentive staff - making sure we were hydrated. Lastly, they blow dry your hair and used Olaplex for the final touch. Great experience and would go again.“
