“I came under the care of Marty Mattox after I broke a bone in my foot. I wanted to get back to training for marathons as soon as possible without the risk of reinjuring myself. The entire staff was great, from the people booking the appointment to checking me in to the support therapists that took me through exercises. Marty herself was very knowledgeable, extremely experienced, including with athletes and got me back to being me. On to the Chicago Marathon for me.“

1200 Gough St, San Francisco“Healthwell PT Rafaela is a knowledgeable, kind and physical therapist. I went in for rotator cuff pain which flared up whenever I moved my arms in certain positions. Rafaela showed me several exercises I could do to strengthen the area around it. Once I started doing the exercises regularly, the pain went away, however if I slacked off, back it came.
Rafaela also helped my knee pain. She watched my walk down the stairs which caused the pain and figured out how I could alter my walk in such a way that the pain wouldn't flare up. She always gave me several exercises I could choose from. At each visit, she would review the exercises with me and ask me which ones worked for me. My shoulders and knees are much happier now that I know how to keep them moving without pain. I highly recommend Rafaela and the PT staff at Healthwell.“

Prior to meeting Maral, I had been living with foot/ankle injuries over the last 10+ years, always avoiding doing anything about it until it started really impacting my day-to-day, that is when Maral came into the picture and it’s been significantly better since working with her. I have had less pain and more mobility. She is thoughtful & kind (along with the whole Living Healthy team). Really enjoy coming to their office and wanted to extended a sincere thank you!“

100 Shoreline Hwy Bldg B Suite 150, Mill Valley“Tammara changed the whole picture of health for me after a chronic neck injury kept me from sleeping well, affecting my posture and pulling my core out of alignment. I spent over a year w a PT at another facility and arrived in the same pain when I had my first session. She worked closely with me, gave me a clear treatment plan, helped me understand how my neck was affecting other pain areas. You can feel the years of expertise in understanding the physiology of injuries in her hands. She facilitated the healing though ART manual therapy, Shockwave for myofascial breakdown and WinBack Tecar for pain and muscular release as part of my rehabilitation.I returned to see Dr. Moore after I had PRP therapy in my left hip since strengthening this area post injection is critical to the success. She gave me mobility pattern exercises and I was able to ski six weeks post!!Highly recommend her expertise to anybody looking to regain movement, has bodily restrictions or wants to improve their performance to the next level.“

Her expertise in injuries/surgeries of all types is encyclopedic. Her studio, in her home, has everything needed for a full recovery from any injury. Best of all, with her amazing knowledge, she gently guides clients to optimal functioning in a very safe, supportive environment. DeAnna is the only PT I've ever worked with who created a plan (with how-to videos) that made me want to go home and do my daily home exercises religiously. Because I saw and felt the positive results from sticking to her program!! She's just the best PT I've ever worked with. She's also a wonderful, caring human and I know my great outcomes from my surgeries wouldn't have happened without her guidance and knowledge.“

Four 4 months straight Joey took me through all the steps to recovery. Extremely knowledgable, convivial, empathetic and appropriately forceful, Joey is the best. I am back to biking and hiking. If you want to recover and be like you were, you should call Joey.“
“Linda is amazing. Works with both the structure and tissue. I’ve been a client for years and she is always exactly what the doctor ordered. ?“
“James is the man! I saw James due to some severe lower back pain. He is no nonsense and got right to the point. He diagnosed my issue very quickly and gave me some exercises to perform at home. I saw him three times over the course of 3 weeks and that was all it took. He doesn't try to upsell or try to get you coming back for anything longer than it takes to get your ailment cured. His methods were based on fundamentals. I found James to be very nice and to the point. Go see James he will take care of you and get you back on your feet! Scott“
“I found her excellent, helpful. She approached my physical problem from numerous different angles -- careful observation, examination, massage, exercises to do at home, many micro- fixes adding up to a big fix. Things are not perfect but much much better. You really have to work at this yourself but I am deriving great benefit and practical results from working with her. Now is a good time to access her.“

Redwood Hwy, Mill Valley“A few years ago I was diagnosed with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, causing pain in my shoulder and arm. My neurologist highly recommended Janice for PT. I now know why: In less than 2 years, my pain level has dropped 90%, and we're not done yet! Janice is both perceptive and thorough; she identified and resolved a number of contributing issues. The result is that, not only is the pain greatly diminished, but my overall health is much better!BONUS POINTS: Janice is also a thoroughly nice person, and enjoyable to work with!“
“She is the best! I will not let anybody else touch my back. I have learned by making that mistake. I feel so much better when she is done it is amazing. Truly a wonderful experience.“
“I'm kinda shocked that I hadn't already written a rave review long ago. I guess I assumed I had, but now I get to rave over 23 years and multiple injuries, surgeries, and recoveries. Starting after the 19 spine procedures with a prognosis of paralysis by 2007; nope! And yes, still doing Karen's exercises today. Then a torn bicep tendon reattached 12 years ago, and with Karen's brilliant work, 100% strength and extension. Then in 2019 I tore multiple tendons, muscles, and ligaments in my shoulder in a skating accident. Completely re-built shoulder in surgery. Once again, Karen helped me regain strength and mobility and today (at 64yrs of age) I'm doing 45 pushups and 10 pull-ups in an "L" along with my Physical Therapy exercises. Karen is an absolute genius when it comes to Physical therapy.“

619 E Blithedale Ave, Mill Valley“Exceptional diagnostician with a healer's viewpoint on how to manage day to day during the healing and prevention after getting better. I worked with Cheryl on two very different occasions. Cheryl does an exceptional job of explaining the ailment and the healing process/procedures and how to mitigate pain and promote healing every day. Her understanding of the body and an ability to recognize precise & specific-to-you problems and their solution/mitigation. I feel very lucky to have Cheryl on my side of any injury/ailment!“
“Scarpelli & Associates provide highly skilled and individualized care. Unlike some places, you won't be seen by a less experienced PT assistant for your care, only by very experienced and knowledgeable PTs who will assess your specific needs. All of the PTs are experts in manual therapy, which is so critical for regaining function (in conjunction with a specially tailored home exercise program). I have been to places where you just feel like the next person in an assembly line given the same treatment as everyone else whether or not it's what your body needs. That doesn't happen here. Also, the front desk staff are always very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!“

22 Battery St # 888, San Francisco“Daniela at the FiDi location is phenomenal. She is personable and provides focused, individualized care that shifts with my needs. I came to GSPORTS after seeing a PT at a different practice for the same injury, but not seeing results. I complained about one exercise in particular, and Daniela showed her mettle in explaining why it was helpful specifically for my injury, and supplementing with a range of more engaging exercises. She's also been great about providing letters to me documenting my need to take things slow while I heal. I'd come back to get care from her without reservation. The office helped me navigate my insurance eligibility with Aetna. While appointments here generally book weeks out, I recommend getting on the schedule and asking to be on the standby list to get in sooner.“

44 Gough St Floor 3, Ste. 308, San Francisco“I highly recommend Lands End! I’ve been a client for 6 months. I was specifically searching for a small practice and found this gem. Each visit I spend some time 1:1 with Micheline, PT and owner. I previously been to large studios where I felt like a name on a piece of paperwork.
I’m always able to get an appointment (!!!) and the young trainers communicate the exercises well.
I’ve made great progress according to my 6-month surgeon check- in. I hit my summer goals to get biking and hiking. I’m on track for my 9 month winter goal of skiing.
I really like the phone app that shows the weekly exercises to do at home as small videos.“

The office is really nice once you’re inside - go down the hall and up the second floor. Super knowledgeable with the care he gave and made sure to follow up with me afterwards. He also did massage which was great. I actually left walking a bit better than before. Front desk and payment/insurance was easy. Some of these other reviews are really incorrect, don’t miss out on this great PT!“

“I have experienced the benefits of Oshana's literally healing arts for different reasons over at least a decade. She is an experienced physical therapist, who I originally visited following an injury, but she is also a practitioner of many approaches to body work. She really excels at devising a program suited to individual needs, is super perceptive about pain and movement, and is very practiced at prescribing methods to increase mobility and strength. So grateful for the all the help she has given me, and now look forward to attending some of her group sessions! Highly reccommend Oshana!“
