“I want to share my eyebrow journey because it took me almost 10 years to finally have the courage to fix my brows.
The first time I had my eyebrows tattooed, I went with my mom to someone’s house in San Jose. It hurt so badly that I actually sat up and said, “I’m done.” She only finished one brow.
The second time, I had my brows done during a microblading class. The person doing them claimed to have many years of experience and a busy shop. She was also supposedly trained by a famous microblading teacher. Unfortunately, I ended up crying about my brows for years.
Not only did the process hurt, but I hated how my brows looked. They were extremely thick, high, uneven, and completely overwhelming for my small face. I felt like I had two devil horns sitting on my forehead. 😭
After almost 10 years, I finally found the courage to try again.
When I went to Aileen’s Beauty, I made it VERY clear that I did not want microblading. I was worried it would hurt, and I was also afraid that the results would fade within a few months. Aileen reassured me that the process would not be painful and, most importantly, that they would take their time to perfect my brows until I was completely satisfied.
It has now been 3 months, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with my brows. Everywhere I go, people compliment them. Other salons have even told me that my brows make my eyes look wider and more awake, which makes my whole face look more refreshed and youthful.
After being disappointed and feeling scammed by previous experiences, I really appreciate that the girls at Aileen’s Beauty take their time, listen to what you want, and genuinely care about the result instead of rushing you through the service just to take your money.
If you have had your eyebrows done in the past and are unhappy with them, I highly recommend getting the old work removed first and then having one of the talented artists at Aileen’s Beauty redo them. Best to call Aileen so she can guide you.
