“I'm so grateful. The best experience I've had with a veterinary office of any kind. The staff is amazing. Incredibly friendly. Cared more about my dog than over charging for needed elements of care than people can not generally afford during financial hardship or not. Less than 24 hours after appointment I received a text with lab results which explained her symptoms. Her medication for the condition was available for pick up the next day. AND then...... spring of 2022 my girl was having symptoms that were highly concerning me. I kept calling them to get her an appointment \u0026 they kept blowing me off. Well she was VERY VERY SICK. I was told her blood work was so messed up the vet said she must of ate something toxic. At that point she had kidney failure \u0026 to attempt to save her life the first 24 hours would cost about $5000.“
“Dr. Burwell and her staff have been treating Goose for the past six years or so. I can only say that Dr. Burwell and her entire team have always been exceptional in their care of my baby boy. In spite of the circumstances, it is always a pleasure to interact with them and they always treat Goose - and me - like royalty.“

“There is very little that can make the loss of a pet easier, especially in an emergency situation and you have an “exotic” pet. I must have contacted 30+ vets/programs in the Sonoma County area and after 3 days of watching my 2.5 yr old heart rat, Blue, struggle for every breath she took, I finally found Heritage Vet Hospital. Not only did they not over charge me but Dr. Lynne Lankes stayed late so we could get to the office so my poor girl didn’t have suffer another night while I had to watch.Dr. Lynne was very caring, kind, straightforward and patient with me, my daughter, and Blue. She presented me with every possible option to help my girl but we both knew it was time to say one last goodnight to her. She made sure Blue was comfortable and that I had time to say my goodnights. She also made sure to offer me keepsakes I wasn’t thinking about at that moment like ink prints of her paws for a tattoo, and a soft foam print of her feet and tail.There is no way to ease this pain but I am very grateful for Dr. Lankes doing her absolute best to take care of all of us.“

“Dr Llanes is a great caring Vet. She was very kind and courteous. I was there for minor problems but as I continued the visit I kept remembering other things that my dog, Allie, needed. She never got impatient and was happy to do whatever needed to be done to take care of Allie, although she had a waiting room full of other goldens waiting for care.. It must have been golden day at the clinic.“
“Dr. Crippen has been my Vet now for years. Let me start by saying I first learned of her from a Cardiologist friend who said she was the best Vet he ever found. I was having cat issues that multiple vets couldn't identify; I drove from SF to Santa Rosa for the appointment with her for my cat. I found her incredibly easy to talk to & interested in all my input. Within days she had a diagnosis and presented me with options. In my future I would have dogs in fact many not all at once of course but, a lot of pairs.To be exact 3 Boxers, 4 Boston Terriers, 1 Golden Retriever & Norwegian Elkhound. I used to always moan about the yearly lab work thinking is it really that important my animals seem fine. I recall her specifically saying labs can reveal things before they show up. This time it happened she discovered my dog had come in contact with rat poison and was barreling towards renal failure, There's no doubt in my mind she saved my dog with that discovery; It was touch and go for 3 days but that early intervention saved my Boxers life that's a fact.Over the years I've had dogs who required specialists and not only was she vital in helping me access the correct specialist But, she served as my council & interrupter for me regarding suggested treatment by a specialist and the reasons for doing so. Specialist don't always spend the time explaining. As all pet owners know there comes the end of life decisions to be made Dr. Crippen has never failed me or my pets with the utmost care & concern for quality of life decisions.I could go on and on with examples of her, not the least of how current she stays on most recent medical options & studies available for my pets. I know I'm a more educated pet owner because of the way she practices vet care which is to educate the owner as she examines.She will never brag about her accomplishment but they are significant; Every specialists I've ever seen for my pets be it a Orthopedic, Internist, Neurologist, Ophthalmologist or Oncologist when I say who refereed me sings her praises.Her staff rarely turns over and for me Lakeside Pet Hospital is the absolute best!“

“Most compassionate team regarding animals I've ever met. From start to finish, explained everything. Listened to all my concerns, not just the eye emergency. Assisted me in finding a surgeon since they were already booked solid but stated she would figure it out if they were unable to find one. Since I now knew my Olive was going to be blind, one of the office staff came out and reassured me that she has seen such resiliance and happy dogs that have lost their sight. “Dr. Neumann is fantastic! She saved our young puppy's vision. He had a sudden neurological problem develop. She took us in as an emergency the next day. Everywhere else the wait was about 30 plus days. If it wasn't for her kind and immediate response and extensive knowledge, our Imhotep would definitely be blind, possibly brain damaged, or maybe dead. He is just 6 months old, and back to totally healthy. Thank you for everything Dr. Neumann“
