We were looking for a holistic vet to help us with our youg pittbull with skin rashes. Dr Chalmers helped us narrow down what was irritating him...it was something he was eating. She put him on some supplements, we modified his diet and his skin/coat look and feel so healthy and beautiful! We are so glad we found Holistic Animal Care, as we too honor a holistic approach for our family's health.
We since adopted another rescue dog who we now bring to Dr Chalmers.
She is extremely knowledgeable, honest, and her assistant, Alexa is awesome...our dogs love her!
Highly recommend if you want a natural approach for your pets.

Dr. Chalmers is my favorite vet, and we use her as our primary vet even though we live in Tennessee. All three of my dogs have made great improvements in their health and overall well-being since working with her and I love the natural approach.

I highly recommend them to everyone I know with a pet. You have to believe in holistic remedies and put serious effort into the solutions for the treatments to really work. After going to damn near every vet clinic in Petaluma I was able to get a dermatology apt at the VCA, who diagnosed my dog as having an autoimmune disease. It took about 8 months and a lot changing medicines and doses before they had her setup with 2 types that produced stable results at a wopping $240 month for the rest of her life.
