TPLO Surgery by Dr. Espinosa. My black shepherd had tplo surgery in late June of last year. This is him now (about 10 months later). I cannot thank Dr. Espinosa, Dr. Exelby, and the staff enough for helping my little guy and I could not have asked for a better outcome. We followed the instructions as closely as possible but we also applied the stretches/exercises to both legs, not just the injured one. Once he could do moderate walks, we slowly integrated uphill work to build his muscle. We continued doing the stretches to both legs months beyond the recommended time. We had a rough day trying to find any vet who would see our dog and help with his injury. The wonderful staff at the Emergency Animal Hospital took us in and gave excellent care to our dog! We will be moving our dog from his usual clinic to this clinic immediately. We are so grateful.
