“When I was planning this remodel I just wasn’t sure on when to start and how it would work with my schedule. I was not in town for most of the project. That was the whole reason I kept dragging my feet on it. I did not want to manage a remodel from a different state. Sounded like a terrible idea. But the house needed work badly and there was no point in waiting anymore. I was initially very worried. Asking myself can I trust the contractor will they answer me, will the job keep moving and so on. With quality first builders I felt early on that the answer was yes to everything. I met with Rudy for the first meeting, and once the contract was signed, I received a very detailed breakdown of all the design items from the design team. This email literally had everything in it, questions, links to things, vision boards etc. This was a lot more help than I expected given the fact that I wouldn’t be in town when a lot of the finishes were going to be needed. We scheduled in-person shopping dates for the days I was in town and other things were chosen online.

They kept me in the loop the entire time with updates, photos and quick answers to everything. Their communication was absolutely top notch.
And then I came back and it was just... done. That is probably the biggest compliment I can give them. The whole thing took up way less mental energy than I thought it would and the place feels really good now. Very very glad I did not keep putting it off. Kudos to Quality First Builders for impeccable work from start to finish.“

“I'm a bit delayed in writing this review, but only because we've been enjoying our new kitchen so much! Huge shoutout to Gal, who was our project manager and the main reason we chose to go with Tulip. He did not disappoint!

We had major water damage from a leak and decided to do a complete remodel of the kitchen. We interviewed 4-5 different contractors and ultimately decided to go with Tulip. One of the things that immediately stood out when talking to them was how honest they were about what could be done in the size of kitchen we had. Our initial plan (read dreams) included an island, and Gal was one of the few contractors that was up front with us about the reality of having an island in the space we had. Although we were initially disappointed, it's clear seeing the end result that this was the right choice.

Gal was very communicative and always a text message away for anything we needed. As with any home project, there were times we needed to pivot, or had tough/fast decision to make, but Gal made sure we understood what was happening, why it was happening, and the options we had. He was also quick to give advice when we didn't know exactly what to do in certain situations.

We ended up being slightly over budget due to some last minute design decisions, but to be honest we couldn't be happier with our new kitchen, Tulip, Gal, and overall project timeline and cost. We will definitely be calling them for our next project!“

“We worked with Elite Home Builders on our ADU, which was a two car garage conversion in our backyard, and we’re really happy with the final result. It’s now a flexible guest room and office that also doubles as an indoor/outdoor entertaining space. The custom layout we came up with together works perfectly, and the passthrough window and outdoor bar have already become the star of the backyard. Guests keep commenting on the workmanship, the attention to detail, and how thoughtful everything feels.

Like any construction project, we hit a few bumps along the way. The project took longer than expected, mostly due to a subcontractor delay and a very nit picky inspector who required a lot of extra steps. To their credit, Gabriel & Sharon stayed on top of both issues and chased everything down until it was resolved. The final price stayed within the contingency we planned for and the main overages were tied to the inspector’s requirements.

They were also super accommodating with the smart home upgrades I wanted to do myself. They ran low voltage conduit between the main house and ADU, let me pull ethernet and speaker wire after framing, and even coordinated timing with an external HVAC specialist so we could install the complex minisplit setup I wanted.

Every crew member who came through was courteous, respectful, and careful. The finishing work, especially the painting and drywall, was excellent. In the end we got exactly the ADU we envisioned and we’d happily work with Elite Home Builders again.“

He told me how much the project would cost, the time period it would take and started the next day. Ronnie is considerate, honest, dependable reasonable pricing of the project, straightforward and to the point. I am very happy with the project. Completed in 3 days. Started August 14 completed August 16.“
