Thank you Sutter Urgent Care. I came in late at 6:15 pm and got an appointment at 7:45. I was pretty sick and so thankful. Huge THANK YOU to Dr. Jill Lauren for seeing me and not turning me away. Dr. Lauren has great bedside manner. Explained all of the after care instructions and I am super impressed. Thank you again
Not sure why there are negative reviews here! I had to go to urgent care today for a suspected sinus infection. I'm only living in Santa Cruz for the year so I don't have a PCP and was pretty nervous. However, the Sutter facility was clean, easy to navigate, and the care I received here was top notch!! The front desk folk were very kind and clear with their instructions. The nurses that took my vitals and showed me to my room were just as kind and professional. I walked in at about 12:15pm and they set me up with an appointment at 2:00pm, which was sooner than I expected. I actually like their system of giving out timeslots as opposed to waiting in the waiting room for hours as I've experienced at other health care facilities. Just like the other workers, the doctor that saw me was very attentive to my needs and listened patiently to everything I had to say. She was awesome. If I ever fall ill again I am definitely coming back here.
I know times aren't the best when we're headed for the DocBox but I wanted to give some stars to the nurses/desk folk and the doc who saw us at this Urgent Care; they were (to the person!!) professional, patient. kind and competent. Thank you all!!
