I was referred here by the VA through care in the community. I saw Dr. Gronquist in November 2024. I waited for them to send me the prescription after the exam. I didn’t receive my prescription until February 2025 when I reached out to the office. It still took them a week to mail it to me. Upon receiving the prescription, I ordered a pair of glasses from Zenni. When I received the pair I immediately got a headache and I felt like throwing up. Joanne and staff are out of the ballpark good. More helpful information was given in one visit than years of my visiting other eye doctors and optometrists. Excellent input about dry eyes, having glasses which resist smudges, just overall caring, friendly, and professional. Easy parking in the back. Don did not try to upsell me, was very patient, spending a lot of time providing options and suggestions. Front desk staff excellent also. No wonder Joanne is booked out months ahead. Kudos to all.

I have only ever gone to my hometown optometrist but my contact prescription was expired so I decided to go to them instead of my place back home. Literally such an incredible experience with this office!! Such caring and kind staff. Responded to my voicemail within an hour and scheduled me the next day! I placed an order for my contacts and literally got them in 2 days!! HIGHLY recommend and hope that the SB community takes advantage of their outstanding service!!
