“Earl Douglas (grandpa) put in our oak wood plank floor in 1987. After 38 years, it still looked mostly great with some water damage in the kitchen. So we called Nathan (grandson) who assured us the floor could be brought back to its original splendor. Grandpa Earl had the foresight to preserve samples of all the flooring material used over the years. He had the matching planks we needed to replace some damaged ones in the kitchen. After sanding and refinishing you can not tell the difference between the 38 year old floor and the new planks. The crew is excellent. They know their jobs very well and are super positive and professional. They took a day and a half to sand and make repairs. Then 3 coats of new finish over 3 days. The job that was promised was equal to the job that was done. And the cost was very competitive. Others will happily charge you more. Go with Douglas for your hardwood floors!“

He helped us figure out what we wanted it to look like and he knew how to achieve it, stopping and sampling the next coat to make sure we liked it. They finished ahead of schedule and were on budget, and the floors are beautiful. The workers were very good and nice. They moved all the furniture and replaced it just as we wanted.
