She even figured out why I was having leg numbness when highly acclaimed pain management doctors could not, despite their extensive diagnostic testing. Dr. Merritt recommended a simple stretch and it eliminated the numbness, saving me from having a nerve burning procedure (radiofrequency ablation) done. She also recommended a series of exercises for a herniated disc, meaning I didn't need a steroid epidural.
