“I’m highly impressed with the love and care of my chiropractic treatments. I feel at home with North Oakland Chiropractic especially with Dr. Bridget Labus. Before, I was officially a patient they worked with me and my insurance patiently for over several months. The front desk staff are courteous, well knowledgeable and top notch at what they do. The office has a warm, friendly feeling with beautiful plants. Dr. Labus spent a long and thorough time with the my initial examination. After that, she adjusted me from head to toes and spent 1/2 hour with my adjustment. Every adjustment is 1/2 an hour which I never received before from previous chiropractic and never been adjusted from head to toes. I was really surprised and very impressed by the full body adjustment done by dr. Labus and the other doctor one time. They use a gentle massage table with hand guided movement and other gentle gadgets. My body loves this type of treatment. My body feels like jell-o after each adjustment and I have gotten a lot of relief from pain, spasms with jerking movements, migraines/tension headaches, muscle weakness, ankles/knees collapsing and my body is more in alignment. Now, I feel stronger (not dropping things), a lot less pain (stopped prescription pain medication- take one Aleve only), less migraines/tension headaches (taking a lot less migraines pain medications), getting better sleep (was 1-3 hours; now 5-6 sometimes more), spasms very lightly and only occasionally instead of nightly and the tension and tenderness is a lot less. I’m able to do more stuff and walk better. Thank you so much for everything you do. I appreciate you and your staff. I highly recommend“

“Lovely people and place. I am only leaving four stars because I feel that my ignorance was taken advantage of. This practice will tell you they will give you a superbill for insurance reimbursement, but leave out that they do not work with any insurance providers. I understand this is on me, but I also believe that as a business, you should go above and beyond to make sure people understand that by choosing your flow state they're choosing an out of network provider, and to check the costs with your insurance. My first visit cost me around $220, whereas if I went in-network, it would have only cost $25.“

“I’ve worked with Dr Jess on several injuries related to long distance running: knees, feet, and ankles. She has always been able to help me get back to the sports I love quickly.In 2019 I had to take 10 months off of running due to injuries. Nothing I could find online was working for me and it didn’t get better with rest. I saw Dr Jess in early 2020 and she helped me identify and treat my IT band syndrome. “Today was the third session I had with Dr. Pollack. I went to him because I was tired of having so much pain that it interfered with my daily life. “Dr. Ariel has magic in her hands! I started seeing Dr. Ariel in 2020 in the height of the pandemic while pregnant with our first ivf miracle baby. I found Dr Horowitz through Kaiser’s ASH (co-pay program) and have been coming here for about two years now.I have had chronic lower back pain for the last 13 years.
