Love coming here. Hiyori does a fantastic job cutting my hair, and I love chatting about Japan with her. $70 includes wash, cut, and style. I'm planning to get highlights the next time I come--for long-medium length hair was quoted $140 for half and $220 for full; both prices include a haircut. Cash or cheque only.

I love Hiyori!! She's always so patient with my hair -- and I have A LOT OF hair! I have had her dye and cut my hair once a year for two years (I really should go more often but I'm too lazy...) Her haircut stays in shape even after the hair grows longer over time. And I love the highlights she did with her incredible amount of patience. I felt sorry that I had too much hair so she had to layer at least 50-60 pieces of foil on my head to create that natural looking highlight. I highly recommend Hiyori

Great salon! It's small with lots of character, located in an affluent area of town. Easy street parking right in front of the studio. Japanese speaking stylists, all friendly and easy to communicate with. My stylist quickly knew how I wanted to get my hair cut, and gave her input as well. The head and shoulders massage was also very much appreciated after the wash. The overall outcome was great. Will definitely be back when in the SF area again.
