This place is great. I've been going since 2021 for simple men's haircuts and they always turn out awesome for a cheap price ($18 at the time of review). Same or cheaper than I would pay in my hometown in central Pennsylvania except this is in the pricey Bay Area! The staff are nice and always kind.

A nice no frills place to get a good haircut at a reasonable price. The salon is clean and both the owner and her assistant really know what they are doing. I wash my hair before going to reduce the price. I like that they don't put products in my hair which other places do before I can stop them. A real find!Service: Hairstyling

Covid-19 SAFE. My son and I returned to Mai Ling to get our haircuts after they finally reopened. She has both the supplies and the procedures to keep her, her coworkers, and customers very safe. When I asked her how she managed to get all the supplies, many of which I recognized from Costco, Mai said she goes to Costco every day to try to catch them when they occasionally make those supplies available. Masked customers have to disinfect hands and get their temperature checked before entering the door, which is kept open to maximize ventilation.
