I've been going to this salon for a few years now and Shelly has always done a great job. I have typical straight and black Asian hair and keep it medium length, few inches off past the shoulders. I got my hair dyed for the first time ever here a few years ago to a reddish brown for (~$70-80 for color, cut, shampoo, and blow dry), and the color came out really pretty. I also recently got my first full highlights done here on undyed hair. It was a nice red brown color too. ($110 with cut, shampoo, blow dry and curled my hair too) I wasn't sure about it at first, but after a few weeks and washes I really like how they look and it looks pretty natural too even on my normal...read full review

Shelley has recently moved to a new location a block away from her old location (now on 1097 Irving St), but she is still the same great hair stylish she has always been! She always remembers the way I like my hair to be cut and does a great job cutting it in a timely and efficient manner. It's always a pleasure to come by every few weeks and enjoy a nice conversation with Shelley while getting my hair cut!

I'm a recent transplant to San Francisco, and came here ....because its on my block. I'm so pleased with my haircut, and Shelley was so nice! I'll definitely be coming here regularly - prices are great and she does excellent work.
