Skott is described as a "wizard" with his efficient and detailed black and white realism work. Leo is a senior, highly desirable artist, and his pricing was more than fair. Leo’s stencil was spot on with the references, and he was smiling and ready to go. Leo’s easygoing demeanor was affable, and his expert consultation on placement was excellent. The shop was clean, calm, and not totally covered in gore and nudity. Leo powered through close to 4 hours with blazing speed and efficacy. Anna is super talented, easy to talk to, and made the whole process enjoyable. Anna took a half-baked reference idea and turned it into a one-of-a-kind piece of art. The price was more than fair, and the vibe was super chill. Funhouse Tattoo welcomes walk-ins and offers appointments seven days a week, ensuring a great experience for all.
I came to San Diego for SDCC knowing I wanted to also get a tattoo. After looking through the work from the artists I knew this would be the location I’d want to get my tattoo at. Within a short time Jeremy connected me to Leo. Leo talked to me about my idea on the design, showed him what I was looking for and he made the tattoo even better than I could have hoped for. Extremely professional and friendly. The staff was outstanding. I have ideas on a half sleeve and am extremely tempted to fly back and have Leo do the tattoo. If anyone is on the fence or unsure, I urge you to consider this location. Thank you Leo and Jeremy!
Leo is a true professional and a gifted artist. My brother and I got coordinated tattoos for which we had a tall order: similar concept but totally different styles. Leo created two incredible and unique designs and executed them perfectly. Our tattoos healed flawlessly and it was a pleasant experience all around. Can’t recommend this guy enough! Couldn’t ask for a better first tattoo experience
We had such an amazing time with Anna. We flew into San Diego for the Susan G Komen walk for the weekend and wanted to get matching tattoos. Not only did Anna’s reviews make our decision to come to funhouse tattoo shop our first choice but she was so responsive, she was great at communicating, she was patient and flexible with our schedule as we were constantly changing due to weather and other factors. We would highly recommend funhouse tattoo and Anna to anyone. Her talent, skills and personality made the whole time enjoyable.
