On a whim, I decided to get ear piercings with my 13-year-old daughter, and we went to Laguna Gold Piercing. They were absolutely wonderful from start to finish — kind, warm, patient, and incredibly consultative.

Dave and Nikki, who was running the front, patiently walked us through the jewelry options and made thoughtful recommendations based on the placements we were having done — a conch, flat piercing and nose ring replacement for me, and second lower lobe piercings for my daughter. I was pretty indecisive about jewelry, and they didn’t bat an eye. They were helpful, never rushed us, and made the whole experience feel easy and fun.

When it was time for the piercings, Dave brought the perfect mix of calm confidence and levity. It was my daughter’s first needle piercing, so she was a little tentative, but they made her feel completely comfortable. Nikki also took great photos and carefully walked us through the aftercare instructions.

It was done and downsized elsewhere, but this was the closest location to my work so I rushed here after I was and got here not too far away from their closing time. Karla was able to help me right away, she got the earring out and put a longer post in without it hurting too much!
