The eastern european gentleman who does the field service calls was completely unreliable and unethical. He was sent by my home insurance company for toilet and garbage disposal repair. He showed up, didn't fix anything, claimed he needed parts and left. He filed a false report with the insurance company claiming that the work on the toilets was complete and that there was a foreign object in the disposal and so it was not covered by insurance . After some phone calls with the insurance company they sent a service tech from another company and the new guy fixed everything in less than 20 minutes including the garbage disposal which had no foreign objects inside of...read full review

This company was sent out from my Home Warranty company. They took a picture of the broken garbage disposal and said Home Warranty would have to approve of it's replacement and someone would get back to me within 3 business days. No response, so when I called home warranty company they said that I would have to pay $200 out of pocket to replace a plastic pipe. I called a different plumber who replaced the disposal for less money an the pipe did not need to be replaced. I felt like the response was poor and the $220 for a plastic pipe was unreasonable. Trying to overcharge for work/parts not needed does not win my confidence. Would not recommend or trust this company...read full review

GMI plumbing is the WORST company I have ever dealt with. If I could give them ZERO stars, I would. My tankless hot water heater is leaking and paid someone to come out and assess it to see what was wrong before I contacted my home warranty company (which is also there with stars), they contracted GMI to come out and assess my hot water heater. The guy was nice and seemed to know what he was doing. He said it was leaking, but the part inside of it could not be fixed so they would need to replace it and he would make sure the home warranty company knew what needed to be done.
