In June, I visited for the first time Girard Orthopaedic Medical Office in La Jolla, CA due to my chronic knee pain. The doctor was really nice and explained the choices I have before deciding for a knee surgery. Wish I could give them a -10 Not sure where to start, but if you're hoping to see an actual Orthopedic; it won't happen here, his PA will act like he's a Doctor and have a attitude with you about your questions. The doc is too busy cashing in on unnecessary surgeries. They give you an option to use medication or surgery that's about it. They charge the insurance for a doctor's visit but you see a PA... Insurance fraud all over the medical industry and these guys sure participate in my opinion. I been in pain for 3 months dancing to these guys tones but still no progress. Way more to say but I am in pain.
Although I was very pleased with Dr Collins, the office staff made a huge mistake and sent me to collections for $35 that I was never contacted about. I called to verify that I had made the payment and the person who I spoke to told me to disregard the letter. 3 months later I am sent a collections letter for freakin $35! Ridiculous!
