Rachel at Bayview was helpful in processing my uncle in time for his military funeral at Miramar Cemetery. My family is very happy with Bayview's efficiency and professionalism.
We were told 1 week to receive the cremains. It's now been almost two weeks, and they say not till the end of the third week. We have services planned and this is cutting it very close. They don't appear to have any sympathy. They don't communicate well. Not all the delays are their fault (as far as I can tell), however, they did nothing to clear them up. I had to make the phone calls. If any supervisors would like to discuss, please add a comment with your contact info. I asked the front desk to escalate, and they didn't move my call up the chain. It's hard when you're mourning someone, and the people you've entrusted your loved one with don't seem to care. My family, in Ohio, has been in this industry for 4 generations. I know how we SHOULD be treated.Added 7/5:Called them early AM, was told the cremains are ready to be picked up. I asked what time they close, she gave me their closing time. Arrived 5 hours before closing. There were two clients with the employee. She asked why I was there. I said "for pickup". She told me she is in the middle of an appointment, and I should come back in a half hour. I wasn't told I needed an appointment. I just said "no". And walked out. It's one thing after another with this company. I hope it works better for you, if you choose to work with them. I lowered from two stars to one.
During such a difficult time I am very grateful to have worked with BayView Cremation & Burial. I had the pleasure of working with Rachel who was very kind and thorough throughout the entire process. She even assisted with contacting the church for funeral times and confirmation. I am very happy with how beautiful my loved one looked at their service and have some positive closure. Thank you BayView and especially Rachel for everything
