“Jia is such an incredibly talented artist and well worth the wait/travel/cost etc. to make your way into her studio! I’ve always had pretty intense needle phobia since I was a kid, as far as needing sedation and anti-anxiety medication for even the most minor things so I NEVER thought I could be someone with any tattoos, much less sit for a whole mini portrait. After debating it for so long and admiring her other work, I came to Jia for my very first/only tattoo so far and she was so incredibly thoughtful and her space so warm and inviting! So much so that I surprised myself and accidentally fell asleep during my tattoo!! I wouldn’t recommend the nap (sorry again Jia!) but will recommend her to everyone I know. Seriously the best possible experience I could’ve asked for and my tattoo exceeded what I thought was possible to “draw” on someone - I keep staring and finding more and more detail!“

After a year + of browsing, I came across Gauge, who exceeded even my highest level of expectations.From the beginning, Gauge was extremely accommodating and made sure I was comfortable both physically and mentally. It's easy to tell that Gauge put a lot of thought into the tattoo design, making sure it was perfectly aligned to what I wanted.I just finished getting my tattoo, and had to run home and share feedback with how happy I am about the results as they were just that fantastic! I'm so glad I found Oliver and discovered and artist that wants to create a masterpiece for their clients to cherish for a lifetime. This was my first tattoo and Oliver worked diligently with me to set up my design and carefully listened to all the minor edits, design questions, and general knowledge requests I had. He was even willing to experiment with black light ink for my design when I requested it. If you're looking for an artist who puts as much care into their art as you have for your dream tattoo design, Oliver is definitely the one to go with!“

“I started going to get my haircut with Net while he was still working at the SM Zoo. I ended up moving away from the bay area and recently moved back and needed a haircut so I reached out. The new studio is amazing and its awesome to see him get his own spot! Net has always given me a fresh cut up until this day. I highly recommend getting chopped up here as Net never disappoints!! “I came in yesterday to get a tattoo done by Morrigan (@oat.mililku on instagram) and had the best experience. I filled out her booking form (very user friendly) and she got back to me within a few days with an estimate and her availability. The shop itself is super cute and clean, and they have water/snacks for clients to consume throughout their appointment. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and was patient beyond belief. I took almost an hour to decide where I wanted to tattoo placed and she was extremely patient despite the fact that she had to re-stencil multiple times. During the tattooing process, she was constantly checking in and making sure I was comfortable. I had the best experience and would love to get more work done by her!Spark Notes: super cute/clean shop! Morrigan is awesome! I'd give her more than five stars if I could!“

“Shannon is just simply the best! She is incredibly talented as an artist and has her own style but she is also very flexible with accommodating your wants for the tattoo. I swear she reads my mind, I tell her what I want and she delivers it in a way that captures both the aesthetic and emotion that I am hoping for in my body art. She's not like other tattoo artists that won't venture outside of one particular style which I super appreciate. Well rounded, super creative, and just all around wonderful human being. Highly recommend! And if you plan on booking, understand that Shannon has always been in very high demand, and this is very common with tattoo artists, so exercise some patience and compassion like you would with any other small local business!“
