“Jia is such an incredibly talented artist and well worth the wait/travel/cost etc. to make your way into her studio! I’ve always had pretty intense needle phobia since I was a kid, as far as needing sedation and anti-anxiety medication for even the most minor things so I NEVER thought I could be someone with any tattoos, much less sit for a whole mini portrait. After debating it for so long and admiring her other work, I came to Jia for my very first/only tattoo so far and she was so incredibly thoughtful and her space so warm and inviting! So much so that I surprised myself and accidentally fell asleep during my tattoo!! I wouldn’t recommend the nap (sorry again Jia!) but will recommend her to everyone I know. Seriously the best possible experience I could’ve asked for and my tattoo exceeded what I thought was possible to “draw” on someone - I keep staring and finding more and more detail!“

“I started going to get my haircut with Net while he was still working at the SM Zoo. I ended up moving away from the bay area and recently moved back and needed a haircut so I reached out. The new studio is amazing and its awesome to see him get his own spot! Net has always given me a fresh cut up until this day. I highly recommend getting chopped up here as Net never disappoints!! Always great vibes and conversations, and I haven't ever had a bad experience with the barber. Very reliable, talented, and respectful owner. Planning to continue coming here in the future. “I came in yesterday to get a tattoo done by Morrigan (@oat.mililku on instagram) and had the best experience. I filled out her booking form (very user friendly) and she got back to me within a few days with an estimate and her availability. The shop itself is super cute and clean, and they have water/snacks for clients to consume throughout their appointment. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and was patient beyond belief. I took almost an hour to decide where I wanted to tattoo placed and she was extremely patient despite the fact that she had to re-stencil multiple times. During the tattooing process, she was constantly checking in and making sure I was comfortable. I had the best experience and would love to get more work done by her!Spark Notes: super cute/clean shop! Morrigan is awesome! I'd give her more than five stars if I could!“
“I cry as I write this post, because this treatment has given me back the confidence I lost after going through breast cancer treatment (chemo). I have tried EVERY product on the market (even products recommended by my doctor) and nothing has worked. I've had one treatment so far and my hair has has grown back to the point where people stop and ask if I am wearing a wig - they can't believe it! “i am obsessed and in love with my new tattoo. I called around noon and was able to get in by 4 pm. I had it done today by Todd who helped me cover up an old one. He was able to adjust the proportions and the placement turned out perfect. He is such a talented artist and was a great person to talk to :) I was pretty nervous but I truly appreciate how he made me feel comfortable and the process went smoothly. I have a really low pain tolerance so needles make me dizzy, but the way he worked with me and talked to me made me feel safe and I felt great both during and after the whole thing! It was a laid back experience and it didn’t hurt like I expected. The style of this tattoo is so new and bold for me and it turned out amazing!
