“We are the owners and designers of a nearly 4,000 square foot high-end home in Marin County for which we recently completed new construction. Our plans and completed project included significant landscaping, including the installation and irrigation of more than 60 mature trees of various species, as well as multiple shrubs, flowers and other plants. We hired a general contractor, landscape contractor and numerous subcontractors. We also had to navigate situations in which we needed to ensure construction would not disrupt the health of existing trees around the property.

As example projects Ben has handled for us, we hired him to (a) assess existing tree health and recommend a course of action for navigating planned construction to preserve those existing trees; (b) diagnose a section of trees that were showing signs of illness and poor health, and recommend a plan for recovery; (c) supervise planting by landscape contractors and nurseries, including steps to optimize likelihood of proper soil conditions and irrigation; and (d) conduct detailed soil assessments at multiple planting locations.
