The team of Jordan, DJ, Jesus and all their staff have been awesome to work with. They were very responsive to all of our requests and had some great ideas to add in order to provide us with our dream backyard.

Jordan was our initial contact. He was very responsive, punctual and professional. He told us some things that they could do that others said could not be done. And they delivered. My wife was very impressed with his ideas. That evening, we decided we're going with this company.

They started about a week earlier than anticipated. We started working with DJ at this point along with Jesus and his crew. All the staff respected our property. They worked hard staying on track.

DJ kept us updated each step of the way and was on-site several times during the week if not almost daily to check in on progress and keep us updated on what was going on or what the next steps were.

At the completion of the project which included a mini remodel of our pool (tile change, new decking, etc), an outdoor fireplace, and outdoor kitchen, new patio cover, all new concrete patio and walkways, new plants, trees, irrigation, drainage and lights, we were ecstatic with the finished project. The estimate for the project was what we expected with no surprises. We did go slightly over budget but that was our fault for adding features as we progressed.

Overall, we are super happy with our backyard remodel project from beginning to end.“

“We are very happy with the outcome of the work done by Shear Perfection on our east Roseville yard. We had new plantings and sod installed in the front yard and a large area of drip plantings and mulch completed in the back yard. The crew, headed by Romeo, was very hard working and were able to complete a large job in a reasonable time. The crew was neat and left the premises cleaned up at the end of each day. Chad was very helpful in assisting with the design, working around some larger shrubs we wanted to keep and assisting us with the choice of plants as well as answering our multitude of questions. Vanessa, in the office, was wonderful in keeping us updated and also on passing on questions to Chad and the crew as needed. Chad has come out to view the results since we finished and replaced 2 plants that did not make it out of the large number we had installed. He also gave us a lot of guidance on the watering and maintenance of our new landscaping.

“After many, many months of design and planning, we were introduced to Randy by our landscape designer. As originally planned, the project was well above our budget. Randy and the designer (Geoff Andrews) came over one evening, sat with my wife and I, and helped to find ways to make adjustments and cuts to the original scope to get the project within budget but also to where we would love the end result. We signed a contract that night and Randy got to work the following week. We were doing an entire backyard renovation including pouring all new concrete, removing changes in elevation, and adding an outdoor kitchen. Demo was FAST and if not for nonstop rain, we probably would have been done with the remodel sooner as well. Over the 6 months we worked with Randy, there were a few times where we discussed adjustments to our original plan that he felt incremental cost would drastically improve the quality of the end result and we are SO glad we listened to his advice. There were other times where he felt we had some unnecessary changes and where we could SAVE money. In the end, the additions weren't quite offset by the omissions, but the tradeoffs were well worth it. The end result is a masterpiece and we couldn't be happier.
