“We are French and were on holiday in julian at the beginning of september. Visiting our cousins. With my son, during a hike in the hills, we were stung by wasps. We started to have allergic skin reactions. I was really worry about that. We went to the clinic in julian, and there was a member of staff, with a good analysis of our problem, she recommended antihistamines. She even accompanied us to the grocery store on the main street to be sure that we bought the right medicine. I do not know the name of this woman, but i want to thank her warmly. Christophe“

“I had a myomectomy with Dr Mel Kurtulus. I had been having very long (10+ days) and heavy periods for a few months, found out I had two large fibroids (why don’t more women talk about this?). I had the fibroids removed laparoscopically by Dr Kurtulus. While operating he looked everywhere and also found that I had endometriosis, which he removed.

I thought he did a great job. I had a small concern about how my belly button was healing and Dr Kurtulus called me back on a Saturday, I sent him photos to review. He confirmed everything was fine and that we should follow up in a few months. My belly button looks a little weird, but he did take out a fibroid the size of a grapefruit from it so I’m gonna assume it’ll take a minute to heal properly. (It’s only been 3 weeks since my surgery)

The good news is: I got my period after the procedure and it was totally normal. It was light enough that I didn’t have to wear a tampon, pad and period underwear and it only lasted 5 days. What a relief.

I would recommend this procedure to anyone suffering from fibroids. Dr Kurtulus did a great job. 10/10 would recommend“

“I’ve had very positive experiences with the providers and staff at this location. Ashley brown (provider) is the only provider I’ve ever encountered in my entire life who actually cares and listens to my woman issues I’ve had since I was 12! She is so empathetic, professional, and friendly. She really works hard to figure out what is going on and is quick to refer me out if needed. The other providers are amazing too but I’ve only seen them prior to the issue I’m having. The medical assistants and office staff are super nice and professional too. If there’s a delay they will keep you updated and even offer you a drink to keep you comfortable while you wait. I’ve never had such a positive experience and I’m so incredibly thankful to have found this clinic. I had an OB I use to see yearly for birth control and switched to this clinic since moving to Escondido because they will schedule appointments soon and if an appointment opens up even sooner they reach out to you. I use to have to wait for OB appointments for MONTHS and my old office would only give me an 3 month supply of the birth control I need for hormones and that I’ve taken since I was 13 plus that office wanted to see me every 3 months just for refills. now I’ve never had to wait for longer than a week for appointments AND they give me a YEAR’S supply. Yep an entire year! It’s a godsend especially considering I need this medication all the time not just for contraceptive reasons it’s so I don’t get ill.“
