“Going to San Diego Sports Acupuncture with Dr. Uzi Chen is the best thing I have done for pain management.
I'd had chronic shoulder pain off and on for about two years and low back pain for a few months when I first went in. We focused first on my back because that was the area of more intense and acute pain. I felt some reduction in pain and increase range of motion after the first session.
Over the next few sessions, Dr. Uzi systematically targeted the muscles of my back, hips, and shoulder. He always used needles and red light heat, and he often uses cupping or other hands-on modalities.
It is two months since I have been seeing Dr. Uzi, and I am completely pain free. I even sprained my ankle/foot about a month into seeing him, and he helped treat the pain and inflammation in that area too.
I saw Dr. Uzi today because I had a previously scheduled appointment, and I had so little pain, I didn't even know what area we should focus on!
